  1. Sorry to hear. About the ECU's. When I had to replace mine I found there were (3) different ones assigned to 97.5 model roadsters. The first one tried didn't work, so it's possible there are others that it could be. I'm not so sure swapping them is a definitive answer.
  2. Apparently moving the switch back to the normal position resets the Koni control. That didn't work. Man I love this technology!
  3. Diagnosis told me left shock was defective. I replaced it (used one) but the error light is still flashing. Still points to left front. Manual says to "Make sure there are no codes stored in the Koni control unit". I didn't read anybody having to manually clear a code for this to go away, and how would you do it?
  4. Yes, thanks for posting this. My VT has a sloppy shift gate, so good to know.
  5. He was probably trying to get over that crappy SV gear change. 1st to 2nd I can see, not 2nd to 3rd though. He was pretty proficient at it.
  6. This should make us all more attentive when we're poking around the engine bay.
  7. If I remember Shamile had the same thing happen and this was the problem. Not fun.
  8. Check your tank cap. If original definetly replace. I guess a 6.0 is self bleeding so no chance of air. You could cross check the temp with an infrared gun, although not likely the gauge is off.
  9. How did this job go, where did you get the gasket? My oil pan is wet. Don't think it's all coming from the pan, but looks like gasket is fairly easy to replace?
  10. I disagree on the mileage statement. That always scares buyers away. You have to wonder about the work that was done. Queens get the premium price.
  11. Yeah that's a great looking SV. But your in Australia, and pay too much for everything. As far as the domestic market, the key word is "mint" cars, as in ones that don't get driven. The ones that do are still in the dumper. Maybe they will eventually follow but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  12. The two aren't related. The HVAC is always on. I'd say somebody wired your lights always on.
  13. Wow with all that was done to that car, odd that wasn't caught. Are they going to pull the engine? I thought that was only a roadster problem. I remember Shamile changing his.
  14. Interstate MT34, and a maintainer. Going on 7 years. Who needs anything else?
  15. That's surprising about the Corvette, but good to know. The EVO was something ridiculous like 1000HP. If I could have taken him a few more miles he would have detonated.
  16. It's sure not all about speed. I learned that trying to keep up with a crap box EVO. It pulled from me like I was standing still. After that I just let the looks speak for itself. Believe it or not, even a Lambo forum needs an "embarrassed' emoticon.
  17. Terrible, replaced the most beautiful part of the car with the ugliest feature of a 6.0
  18. I agree. SE and SV are the best looking. Never liked cars with the "add on" appearance, no matter the performance.
  19. Go back further. 6.0's used to fetch near $200K, now barley $150K. I paid quite a bit more for my plain old SV 6-7 years ago than this RARE one. So I guess it depends on when you bought. Roadsters are terrible no matter. A good one was near $175-$180, now $125 and lower. Again, my time frame is different.
  20. Can't believe how cheap it went for. Diablo prices just aren't moving at all, except DOWN.
