  1. Sudesh, thanks for the wonderful link. I replaced my air hoses couple of years ago as they were tearing but there's metal wire in it so within a few months of wet weather, the wires start to rust again in the new hoses. I was thinking to replace them with construction fan hoses & your link proved pretty useful. We just need to make sure it can take high temperature as the engine bay gets hot.
  2. Hi yes the black one with orange SV stickers. Jon here, have we met? It'll be great if your guys have them. I'm replacing the two front shock absorbers so just need the rubber bushes for top & bottom. 4pcs & non lifter. Thanks & of cos let me know the price. Has anyone upgraded the bushes to poly?
  3. Well, it's clearly a 6.0 VT. Even the badge on the butt says so.
  4. Hi guys, can you please point me to where you guys order parts for Diablo? I've been using Glen of AMH Exotic parts. Unfortunately, I need 4 bushes for the new shock absorbers & the factory price just went from US$34.30 to US$294.07!! Now if only our car's value shot up as much.
  5. This is interesting. Mind sharing the price of the ceramic coated headers? I'm from Singapore so might have to order from UK site.
  6. Thanks guys. The problem is my Diablo is parked in an underground carpark which is shared with neighbours so it's not nice to have my Ctek plugged to the wall all the time. Was wondering if getting one of those Lithium/deep cycle batteries will solve my issue. Some of my cars with little electronics have no problem starting after a month while the worst has to be modern Bentley, my GTC goes crazy once the main battery is drained within 2 weeks & you'd need to go back to the agent for a full system reset & after a few times some items start to fail. Sold the car! So, does anyone have the specs of our car? I don't have the user manual & it's a late SV so guess any post 95 cars should be the same.
  7. Alright boys as the title. I drive my car about once a month especially when I'm travelling very often so the battery always goes dead even after I switch off the knob in the cabin (power continues to be consumed by the clock & alarm). Every time I'd like to drive it, it would require an overnight charge or have it jumped & not convenient to leave my trigger charger on all the time. So, I've been told to look at Lithium batteries or deep charge batteries. Marine applications etc. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/12v-100AH-LITHI...=item4607d0c828 Lithium batteries are far lighter than our lead & lasts longer but there's a charging problem which makes them unsuitable unless the technology has moved on. Porsche sells lithium for the RS @ US$1500 a pop in my area. Can someone please tell me the specs needed for our Diablo/Murcielago? The size of the battery tray, Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) rating and Cranking Amps rating. Please feel free to discuss, thanks!
  8. Howdy! That's a lovely Roadster. A few questions if you don't mind sharing? Where can we get the white clear front signal covers & if you have the contact for Jeff? Are the SV wheels direct fit using stock bolts or longer ones? I just realised that the front right shock of my '00 SV has sinked 1" lower but it's the non-lifter type & will probably want to change the bushes while they're getting refreshed. I also had the Fabspeed exhaust & ceramic coated but it was too loud for my taste so took it off & fitted another set so would pass it along to anyone who wants it for cheap.
  9. Hello Rey We should meet up, it'll be great to have our Diablos together for a photoshoot. Oh, I bought a spare waterpump & you might want to buy it off me to replace yours if it's not done recently. Someone called? Hehee Yes, I have the late Diablo SV with open lights. Shame that it's in the KL dealer workshop now but getting some worn parts replaced for better & I'm taking it to the mountains right after that & perhaps a proper shake-down in Sepang again. Also ordered Kreisegg exhaust for it. I've had a chance to buy the gold 6.0SE #008 but as I was looking for a daily car, took it for a drive & I bought the 05 Murcielago manual. That was 4 years ago. The Murcielago has also been sold to Australia while the 6.0SE is somewhere in Malaysia now. It has all the nice carbon bits but I like the 30SE & SV for the RWD with sharper steering feel + better power over earlier cars & the SV brakes are phenomenal! I believe my car has upgraded pads & they really shed speed. Otherwise, it is not a fast car compared to modern stuff but the looks & those roof air intakes! If I have the choices, I would still vote for 30SE in purple, 6.0SE followed by SV then Roadsters.
  10. Hook up with Eurospares. I'm sure they have some contacts for a used engine. It wouldn't cost too much for a good low mileage. I was quoted US$32000 for a Murcie engine with just 7K miles in 07 & I'm sure it's a lot cheaper for Gallardo by now. The Gallardo has an over-rev limiter built in to prevent this, unless he downshifted in wrong gear for a manual. He should get a serious inspection into what went wrong & claim it!
  11. Hi Sam, I heard it's ex-Brunei. Seen it a few times @ Hongseh before but it wasn't for sale then. It was hardly ever driven but always maintained & recently changed hands twice. It's with a dealer now. We haven't discussed about price yet but the clutch is seriously heavy & very progressive. You won't be able to do fast gear changes.
  12. Hi guys, I'm looking @ a 1994 gold + beige Diablo VT with less than 5K miles on it. Body's good with some rust creeping on door edges & outside, bottom of windscreen. I have the VIN nos. It's getting a Larini exhaust fitted by the owner. The problem is the clutch. It's so heavy that I wonder how do you guys drive it daily or in traffic? Does it have ABS & power steering? Sorry, few guys know about this car over here & they don't even know that it's a 4WD! May I know if there's anything I can do to lighten the clutch & what should I look out for in this model. How's the maintenance as well? Thanks!
  13. Oh man, I haven't log on for a while & lots of juicey pics you guys have! Here's my take of a Singapore car.
  14. I'm on Dec '04 manual. Just touched 19500miles on orig clutch but the pedal is getting higher on the bite! So, I'm taking it a little easy now. Do they change the flywheel/bearing etc as well?
