122 is fast however way you look at it, BUT the Chevy guys are thinking they will be hitting 130mph bone stock. With the C6 Plastic mess-06? I doubt 130, I can see 125ish though. Only time will tell. How much mph do you think it would gain with 100 more horses, better suspension, and a lighter car? Going from 117 to 125+ isn't that far off a stretch with that list of improvements.

i wouldnt say how inefficient, but rather how much potential they have. ferrari takes a small engine and takes every ounce of hp they can from the motor. GM basically says fcuk it lets use a big engine and not take all the potential. which for those of us who are moding LSx engines is good news. And on this LPE C6 they ported the heads, valve job, new cam, plus bolt ons and pullies and tune. all for 7g, which isn't that bad of a deal considering it has a warranty to boot. And I think you are on crack if you think this is a prelude to the Plastic mess-06. The Ls2 is a 6.0L engine...the Ls7 is a 7.0L. Also the weights between the two cars are different, as is suspension, and other such factors.

theres still zero numbers out on the Plastic mess-06 performance wise. and i think ferrari was on crack when it published the numbers for the f430. but i'm betting there will be people using the age old arguments that american cars cant turn and thats all ferrari's do. id say hold off on this argument til someone makes an official comparison with the cars side by side.

Well there are slow and fast versions of every car. I guarantee there are more mustangs and fbodies that are 13 second or faster cars than civics. why? because stock fbodies are 13 second cars and with very few mods a mustang gt can be a 13 second car. how many civics with out the aid of an engine swap or some sort of forced induction can get into the 13's?

id agree srt-4 owners are the worst. disagree with the camaro comment due to whats in my own garage. but i am also going to say every car make/model has owners that are ass holes. no way to get around it. there are exotic owners that feel they are better then everyone else. there are viper and POS owners that think they are special. there are mustang/fbody guys that think they are hot shit since they paid less then pretty muche veryone else. and then there are the imports which can just be fcuking annoying. no way to get around it. Honestly, I'd take a Gen 2 viper over the new one. Blue with white stripes baby! Exact car my neighbor had, it was a beast.

its 980 rwhp, through an automatic so assuming 15% drive train loss its right around 1200 fwhp. Car ran a 10.01@138 (not sure about the mph) on its first shake down pass.
