  1. agreed, the little details in there really make a difference, especially towards the back.
  2. Sounds so good! @whiteout had brought this up before, without the crossover sounds so much better. @Unotaz I think it's $30k.
  3. Was pretty much to be expected. I went with the SVJ coupe specifically for this reason - Roadster was cutting it too close to the replacement.
  4. Try turning the TCS off Joey, it makes such a big difference in how the car drives! The TCS in the 640 basically just cuts power all the time - with 2wd even more so.
  5. Some of these guys are very hard to watch but you have to remember though that their audience is not our age demo - it's the 12 - 18yr olds. Sadly, one thing I feel like the internet really ruined is exotic cars. When I was young, even if I saw a corvette drive by I'd freak out - seeing a Lambo was like seeing a unicorn. Now with IG and YT it's so commonplace we've all sort of become immune to it.
  6. The comments above are basically exactly my train of thought when going for the SVJ. The S is seriously SO easy to drive but I wanted something like the SV - the SVJ just checks all the boxes. As Alex mentioned, I don't know that the cost to upgrade from the SV to the SVJ is worth it (haven't driven the SV) but there's no place else to go from the SVJ but hypercar.
  7. That honestly sounds exactly on point with what I'd expect. They are still making Aventador S coupes and roadsters along with the SVJ, when I visited the factory a few months ago I believe it was around 50/50 on the line. If I recall correctly they can finish 3 a day? Some are assuming more special edition AVs but I just dont see that being the case outside of the race version - you don't use JOTA then say "also, MEGAJOTA!" imo. Would LOVE to see what the replacement looks like.
  8. I'll second that the standard Aventador (S) feels like a GT car - it is so incredibly easy to drive. I honestly forgot I was driving in the loaner I had the other day til someone pulled up next to me on the highway freaking out. Those updates were added to the SVJ as well so you can take it easy or push it. In a v12 Lambo, pushing it was relative before - now it will literally blow your mind. Seriously you can not help but smile after feeling the grip the SVJ has, its hard to explain. I debated getting the SV roadster as there was one for sale in FL that was the spec I ordered my SVJ in. I just knew that if the S was that much better than the standard Aventador, the SVJ would be the same compared to the SV. SV is still an absolutely stunning car and I'm sure you'd have a blast in it - I just wanted the swan song as I regretted not getting the Murci SV. Lastly, I may be bias but while SVJ doesn't seem to photograph as well as the SV, in person it's a completely different story. It just looks newer, more refined yet aggressive. There's a rear quarter angle where you can see the way the wing sort of flows back - every time I see the car that way it just makes me love it more. No clue why but I would dare to bet other SVJ owners know exactly what I am talking about - the more you're around it the more you appreciate it, both in looks and performance.
  9. I seriously love this car - if money was no object I'd love to pick one up. Lambo has been crushing it on the design side, honestly they are at the top of their game now imo. One thing to keep in mind is that other manufacturers don't really build something as long and wide as their trinity cars to begin with - the Aventador is already dimensions of a hypercar so it makes sense that they'd build one off the same platform. It will be very interesting now to see where they go with the next v12 - this makes me wonder whether they will continue to use the Aventador tub and supplement the ISR with the electric tech as they are here.
  10. Totally agree with the J comments - it honestly is the most complete supercar package I have ever experienced. I was planning to swap out the exhaust on mine as well but it sounds so good stock. I had the dealer plug the valve so it's always open - gave me that perfect little boost in volume down low, love it. kingrichards - The best way to compare it to the S is basically adding the ability to make the car feel alive when you want to. Driving the S roadster is a blast but the car is so easy to drive it doesn't feel like I expected the V12 to - especially coming from a Murcielago. That same experience is possible in the SVJ (albeit with less sound deadening) but you can push the car SO much further. I know I haven't even gotten close to the limit with mine and it legitimately scares me. As Alex mentioned above, the sensation in the turns is unreal. You expect the car to want to kick the rear end out but it just turns harder, it feels like a rollercoaster. I think that's the reason I've gotten motion sick driving it in twisties - the side Gs are so intense on the corners. I've said it before but it's worth repeating - the SVJ is one of those cars you need to put some miles on to truly appreciate. It gets better every single time as you realize how capable it truly is. Lastly - my goodness, the looks of this car. It is the epitome of what we all dreamed of as kids. I smile every time I open my garage.
  11. I think I need to drive an SV to compare it to the SVJ - have only driven the standard Aventador and the S. I actually forgot I was in my SVJ last night, it's that easy to drive when you want it to be - coming from a 640 roadster I actually really appreciate that it can work however you want it to. A v12 Lambo that *could* be a docile daily driver... then a flip of a switch to be one of the most aggressive yet capable cars I have ever driven? It's the best of all worlds. The car has literally made me motion sick driving it in the canyons because of how hard it grips around corners. It's incredible.
  12. Has anyone else heard the replacement is getting pushed back to 2024? That seems a bit crazy to push it back that long, especially with cars like the SF90 coming at a similar price point.
  13. Dude... Literally made me pucker a bit til that last part LOL.
  14. ha I can't believe you were in there without the seat. You're right, you really couldn't tell! I wonder how hard it would be to mount pads to the tub? I'm 6'5 as well, you can sit a bit bow legged in the Murci and fit ok. With a helmet (in a coupe) no way - I also wouldn't drive the car without a seat in a situation that required a helmet - that's asking for severe injury. tbh though the Murci is not a track car.
  15. Love it Joe, making me miss it man!
  16. Dude having put about 200 miles on mine I can tell you first hand it's such a blast. Will make you motion sick with how hard it sticks to the ground around corners lol.
  17. For real? That is insane! Going to try that out on my next fillup. I'll have less than a quarter tank and only be able to fit about 13 gallons right now if I remember correctly, doesnt last long.
  18. Thanks guys! Yep, it’s scandal with a glitter. In the sun there’s a pretty significant difference - I really love it. I was 100% planning on wrapping the bottom pieces (front winglet, side lower wing and rear lower outline like the 63) but when you see it in person it makes you think twice. The car has such a presence already in this color that it doesn’t really need the contrast like I thought it would. Will post more photos of it once I get it back from ppf!
  19. just dropped it off for PPF, not sure if I'll do the bottom pieces black yet. Color is Verde Themis.
  20. the car is actually a lot louder in person with just the valves open. I'm always a fan of a better exhaust but I'm not sure it needs it - will report back once I get more seat time.
  21. Got mine yesterday -all I can say is WOW. It is absolutely MENTAL in Verde Themis. I was planning to wrap the bottom portions like a 63 but after seeing it in person it doesn't need them. I'll post some photos once I get it back from PPF. @Unotaz if you want to see my car it's still there, being picked up in the AM.
