  1. I watched it the other day, and stumbled upon on it, really. I figure others might have not known it was out, I know I didn't. It's an ok movie, but I did enjoy the atmosphere of it. as well as the directing. As far as one of the car themed movies, it's one of the better. I think it could've benefited from just being longer to see more development in the history of the marque, as well as being longer to have more dialog. Might have just not have had the funding for it though. I was hoping to see Balboni do a cameo of some sort though. I did see a scene that I'm pretty sure was LP.com inspired. It was hilarious! I'd recommend checking it out as a good way to wind down the day though. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5533370/
  2. I woke up this morning with TTGs in my head. Specifically Arancio Borealis. Welp, I told myself let me try logging in to LP. Hmm....I guess you don't need to login to see posts anymore......why are these posts so old? Maybe you gotta' login to see new posts......reset password for like the 20th time (and see if it actually works and resets this time).....hey it worked......Saw this thread, ohhhh.... On the flip, I recognize all these posters here. Howdy, yall. I know car forums migrated to IG, and FB. Both I don't like, despite me having two active IG accounts. I don't want to look at pics, I want to engage people. Granted I came to look at TTGs. lol.
  3. Don't worry, Kerplop, I got you on this. Here's what I'm gonna do, I'll get the lighter fluid, you get the 10 naked womenz. Those cam covers look so NICE. Looks great, man! I like the pic of you and the machinist together, because I can really see the pride in yall's faces.
  4. I think it looks interesting. I've never been a fan of that diamond pattern stitching for interiors, but aside from that; I like it?
  5. Can you make a spacer to make up the difference, or is it just really negligible? Seems negligible to me.
  6. Soooo, what's the plan for the Datsun? Restore, mod, swap? What's the story on that, how'd you get a hold of it? Old car stories are great
  7. Sweet, finally here's my one & only chance to officially get a Lambo Owner title under my avatar!! Black leather seat with green citura stitching, a Verde Ithaca body and repainted white wheels would look pretty good. I knew my day would come! $4,000, what a steal! Y'know, being in Texas I could take this to the local car meets since tractors can legally drive on the roads here.
  8. Am I the only one who thought this funny. Last name spindle, and you're a car enthusiast, eh, eh, eh. Okay, I'll pipe down now. Cool news. I think you already mentioned which race you'll be aiming for, right.
  9. The updated Urraco wheels look nice, especially the polished look to them. I was going to ask if they were custom made, but with a second look they definitely don't look stock. The front and rear offset is keen too. Are the headers equal length? Do you have anymore photos of them? The routing looks funny. Almost like some of the exhaust is dumping from the middle of the V. Ohh, and I'm really keen on the trans case's contrast between the case and ribbs/supports. Black and polished is cool. I think old cars need more polish of shiny metal, it's what helps give that old car feel. Why is the interior being fabbed instead of using the pre-existing interior? I think I'm missing something.
  10. Crash it near me and I'll pick it up. I'll make some good use out of it. I've got ideas of a cool couch or something else creative/artsy.
  11. The molding on the rear spoiler looks great and the car so far looks really cool. Was the gray when you got the car a factory color? I really enjoy these classic car restores like this and Kerplop's. Great work and nice execution. I like the textured finish on the front lip and fenders.
  12. And, that's exactly why I didn't buy one. I threw my Big Gulp in the dealer's face when I found out there were no cup holders telling him to slurp on this! **SPLASH!!** Nah ah! There's a reason I hang around the Old School section more than the general or newer models. e.g. Gallardo and up. The hell with deep breaths, where's my Big Gulp?! I must proclaim a definitive, WORD! As far as Chris, I like him, and yes he does say things to stir the pot, but was he wrong with what he said about Ferrari sand bagging cars? HELL NO. I think with Lambo, he just misses what they used to do, and not what they've become, which is akin to what Hovik says up above. What I like about him (Chris) is that he isn't another degree holding English major writing about cars. He's a car guy through and through.
  13. Yeah, and the Murcielago looks cool too.
  14. What a great way to put it, especially with the representation of your effort. For me at least! It's so hard for me to throw in the towel. Wow, that's so great, Ohlgren.
  15. That's what I was thinking, the Lambo VTEC kicked in, yo. Please get cabin vids of driving around. Flybys, ugh. We can't live vicariously with drivebys, we need cabin ones too!
  16. Says the owner of a public Lamborghini forum. Ahh, c'mon now. Where's your spirit?! I don't hear any singin'!
