  1. The only current Ferrari that i like & rare. A friend of mine went out in one and said it did not really sound that different to a 599 although they seem to be making a bigh deal about it in reviews. Said i was a great car though. I think that is the HR Owen car in London waiting to be delivered to a customer.
  2. I'm pretty sure they have had two for quite a while. They really do have some serious cars but i'm not sure they all belong to him though. I still find it funny that when you ring up for anything they have to authorise it with the boss first and they call him "big nose", there sales team are not exactly what you would call professional, "cowboys" come to mind, but they are funny. They do a lot of business with footballers, celebrties, etc and i think do quite well out of it.
  3. Welcome, car should look real sweet with the new bumper.
  4. Always sad when something like this happens, and especially when a young person dies that you know or are friends with, emphasises that we are all very much mortal as much as some of us like to think ourselves invincible. Also a reminder to all to be aware that the company you keep may also reflect upon yourselves. Think yourself lucky you did not go on a night out with the guy and find yourself in the middle of it when it kicked off. Rip
  5. Awesome, that looks great, just what i was looking for, think i will do that to mine. How hard are they to get off? did the bumber have to come off to get at them? But out of interest the prices for a new set were sl $1500 per side Total $3000 560 $500 per side Total $1000 Nice markup for some ceramic coating which is done by these guys http://www.zircotec.com/page/endorsements/83
  6. As the title. Official lambo ones are around $1500 i assume they would fit?
  7. Took about an hour, had to take the rear grill of as the prongs had backing plates on which was a bit of a nightmare, had to break them to get it off. Paint shop did the painting for me, just roughed it up then sprayed it.
  8. Dude your not crazy, it had backing plates.
  9. Thanks guys. Anymore for anymore
  10. Cheers, I was now thinking they could sand blast it as they sugested to rough it up for painting, only problem is its going to ruin the sticky tape on the rear but i think painting might do that anyway as it not very well attached to the peel away sheet it's on. How did you re-attach yours?
  11. Ok so i've got the Lamborghini rear emblem which is a chrome plated plastic, the bodyshop is not sure paint/primer will not just flake of the chrome. They are talking about some sort of plastic self sealer then paint or shot basting it first. Those that have done it how did you paint it? Did it last ok?
  12. Unlikely as i have never yet got a perfect finish, even with very light coats it always seems to end up with drips or thicker in some places than others, spray cans just dont get the pressure to do it properly, even if you heat them up. I used to have a compressor and spray kit which worked much better but unfortunately it got stolen a few years ago.
  13. Here is some pics of the logo, it's plastic not metal as some said & has two points for fixing on the rear, just sticks on with the self adhesive tape already attached to it. It's the same logo for all muci, gallardo & all there variations so they said.
  14. Thanks, pretty much what i wanted to know, have slept on it & think i will wait till the new one is released as its not too long & then probably pick up a used ss if the new one is not dramatically different faster, etc.
  15. Hi guys, My sister is being seconded to Singapore with her firm for six months & has been given a choice of accomodation below. Have no idea what would be better as she has only been to the country once before & only for a few days. If anyone has any thoughts as to which is a better location please let me know. Many thanks. http://cairnhillresidences.com/ http://www.iproperty.com.sg/singaporecondo...ondo=the_beacon Commuting to work at: One George Street Singapore 049145 Singapore
  16. Bentley continental replacement is apparantly due at the end of this year (Paris motor show October), how do people reckon the supersports prices/performance will fare against the new car. Anyone heard anything about it? I quite want a ss & like the more agressive styling but i don't want to buy one if the new car is going to be more like the ss than the "normal" cgt styling ref pic: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpr...i_pictures.html
  17. Really great looking car, love pearl white, the only additions i would make is darker wheels, black or titanium and white calipers to match the car.
  18. A bit cheeky but pretty funny, i looked at it and thought it was yours, then totally discounted it as coincidence/paranoia till you commented.
  19. Ok i found them on eurospares if anyone needs one, can you just paint them or does the chrome have to be stripped of? http://www.eurospares.co.uk/searchResult.a...p;S=+400853742B
  20. Where do you get them people? I've looked and can't find them, eurospares don't seem to do them and i'm assumung there about $1m from lambo. I take it you don't paint the original if it has to be broken to get it off
  21. Looks good, I might have to get one as well, whats the concensus on putting one one on a verde car? Where do you get them from?
  22. Guy keeps hitting the limiter and very jerky on the accel in places, but sorted the video for you.

  24. Veyrons, Cinque etc, was at the Dorchester Hotel, London there is nearly always good cars parked outside. We just met there as it’s pretty central & took the pics before going to the other event with the F1 & Mille Miglia cars. Event was a charity one supporting retired ex soldiers the Chelsea pensioners at the Chelsea hospital, an amazing building, and some real interesting guys who live there.
