Depends what you are going to do with it. I like open deck day boat with a bit of cover unless you are going to actually go port to port or living on it cabins seem a bit pointless as does anything above about 50ft. 35-40 ft good size for entertaining don't need massive engines and fuel bill at that size and can do a bit of everything. What you have a pic of looks very limited use and space but fast so depends if you want something to spend the day on or just to go racing about in. The big ones are like posh caravans! Much rather sleep on land unless you have a full crew to run and maintain it Makes cars look like a cheap hobby!

New owners are a different breed, see them as luxury goods rather than any real like of machinery or even cars Kind of killing the hobby for me as not my sort of people, i liked the old LP crew and owners in general, very varied but all shared similarities that brought them to the brand. I just have nothing in common with the vast majority of people that have taken over now LP survives as a low traffic social club of old members occasionally popping in to say hi.

I would almost guarantee these will end up getting discounted and then directly competing with used SVJ’s that are a couple of years old driving them lower as you can have a brand new version for the same money. Its as if its a deliberate fcuk you to what was supposed to be the end of the line special car. I would also take SVJ over it but it’s definitely going to hit their market Lamborghini will see them as different markets but used they will be direct competitors which is a really stupid marketing policy to compete with yourself.

Yeah I just saw that, seems an odd move unless they are going to be discounted or they have some new tech. run out models are usually the special ones to sell the end of the line stuff not general production. Makes you think Aventador is going to be about for a while yet.

I would be excited by anything with 4 seats thats more Lamborghini than Urus or anything bonkers, middle ground is so meh now

Try and vbox, dragy, etc it first so you can repeat after to see if the different power delivery feel actually translates to any real improvement. Or at least benchmark a speed at a set point on your favourite straight and repeat 50-150 would probably be the best benchmark for real use. look forward to hearing how it goes.

That will look great, Personally i would black out the silver bits when it arrives and black mirrors Are those the winter 21'' wheels or a new style? A few people have said the 23'' are not suited to road use unless you have very good flat roads. I think they are just focusing on standard production and don't really want to do anything else as they are selling well.

Just got the letter to say engine hood screws may come loose and the hood could potentially detach. Anyone with an SVJ should probably arrange to have the work done.

Seeing some of the pics reminded me, If you haven’t already make sure you remove the sticky paper covers from the floor mats, I didn’t for a weeks use and it was an absolute pig to get the sticky glue they were attached with off them after.

I think its winter which is currently supporting them and they have made so many they have to crash eventually. compared to other expensive suv’s the residuals have been better than anyone would have thought , largely as its in a category of its own, no rivals yet, maybe ferrari ff or Bentley continental which are both totally different prospects. But no doubt it is a sales winner, i just fear Lambo is becoming the new Porsche with all the models and are less special because of it. I’m not in the camp of its a proper lambo, its just too similar to the audi rs products, its just a really expensive one of those, more so than any model ever before. But sticking a lambo badge on it does make it more than the sum of its parts and it has almost universal respect. So I'm definitely in the minority but most have never sat in one or driven one so I'm not sure what it is based on. Its impressive rather than special, which is where my line for being a real Lamborghini is.
