  1. Car works very well in non skittle colours. Grigio Telesto and Nero above look great. White also looks good.
  2. They will produce as many as they can force on dealers. If the released number of 900 gets revised to something smaller, it is because of lack of demand. There are not many orders for S and S roadsters right now. Buyers have moved up to SVJ, over to SV, down to base, or held off entirely.

  6. I think you also don't understand the definition of insult. Insult is what you've done to VCR, who has a collection that puts almost everyone to shame. Nobody has insulted you, you're doing a great job making your own self look foolish.   8. Sorry I should have clarified. By confusion I meant frustration not actual confusion. As stated the build up for the J was real. By release, most were drooling. At release, concomitant unveiling of the 63 was... odd? Hoards were clawing for J allocations and now... something else, curiously slotted above the SVJ? It was odd for some, frustrating for many. Regarding aesthetics, that's debatable whether the 63 was "nicer" than the base J.

  10. Not quite accurate. I stated arguably uglier. Big difference. Ferrari doesn't care about the value of their cars on the resale market but Lamborghini does? If you think I am here as a moderator on a Lamborghini forum to hurt the brand you have a screw loose. It's difficult to have collaborative discourse with you because you state things as fact when they are not. My goal here is to guide discussion on a subject which I have what most would consider a deep knowledge of. Some of your comments are accurate, some are not quite correct, I'm simply trying to true the course. Sorry if you disagree, but I know what I know.
  11. Your writing style is difficult to understand. First paragraph - is that a question? Second paragraph - are you agreeing or disagreeing? We’ve already established Lambo doesn’t care about the secondary market and produce as many as they think they can sell. With that in mind why do you think they are projecting much lower roadster production numbers? I know you’re a Lambo fan but realize we’ve all been here for years if not decades discussing all things Lamborghini. We want them to succeed. However Destructo was correct - they botched the roll out and blew their wad. The SVJ hype was real, when the reveal finally came they one upped themselves and co-presented an arguably uglier “more desirable” 63 version that was both confusing and annoying to legit buyers. Also I’m sure you realize this, SpA didn’t name the car Jota or JOTA, it’s SVJ.
  12. I agree. Lambo Vancouver alone got 8 allocations. Lambo Calgary got 5. I am sure the US total is much more than 120. Also my understanding is reception to the SVJ has been lukewarm. No official confirmation on this yet. Price point has been one issue, some feel it's simply too high. Model confusion was another issue, with SVJ, SVJ Roadster, SVJ63, SVJ63 Roadster, LB, and now the one off, all rolled out prior to first SVJ coupe delivery. A third possible issue was Aventador fatigue, with just too many produced and to be produced. I've heard the aforesaid items account for lower projected roadster production. Again this isn't officially confirmed, it's speculation... for now.
  13. That's not quite how it works. Because the CAD USD exchange fluctuates, pricing needs to be set. Canadian SVJ pricing took awhile to obtain because dealership owners requested Lambo SpA set a more reasonable exchange as the SVJ was already optimistically priced. That said your pricing is close.
  14. S is so much better than base. In fact, the S is in many ways better than the SV IMO.

  17. I've chatted with DBK, he knows everything about Ford GTs. Ford wants people to drive their cars, show them off, be influential and spread the brand and model worldwide. He's a very good source of all things Ford GT.
  18. I'll move this out of General once it gets some traction. I want one of the new Ford GTs, now that 250 more slots have been released. Any tips on the application process? Starting with where to apply, what to say? Any suggestions from those that have been granted/delivered a Ford GT? Thanks in advance.
