  1. Agreed, but still.. I would be happy to try my luck at it!
  2. A little off topic from Lambos, but a cool sight from my Gallardo... 3 F50's on the Stampede last month!
  3. I do not know anything about the above mentioned warranty company, but I have never heard an exotic owner say they are glad they bought a warranty from a third party. Search old threads on this forum and you will find some experiences that others have shared. Read the fine print! I do recommend the CPO warranty from Lamborghini, before they will issue the CPO.. the car is inspected and must be up on all services. So this is a great piece of mind.. and it would be hard to get a CPO on a piece of junk. The catch here is the price, and they will not CPO a car older than 7 years old.
  4. Whatever the case, change is coming! Regarding thread subject.. how do you spell "Lamborghini"?
  5. It is amazing how well they keep moving these cars forward, the Aventador S is something else to drive... and the Huracan Performante is just a beast.
  6. Take your car to Lambo Newport Beach, they are one of the best in the world. Even if just an oil change, it never hurts to have a qualified set of eyes look over the car.
  7. Thanks for all the congrats! VCR, nice work.. and yes, I guess every contest should have a prize. EVEN though I won a contest on here a year or two ago and was suppose to get a photo of female lp member's booty or something.. still waiting! :) I think we were guessing what a car would auction for or something? So for the 11 Balboni votes, pm me your postal mailing address and I will send you a lamborghini prize next month... I am sure we will have some stuff left over from the Lamborghini Club party in Monterey August 19th!
  8. Here is it... 2010 LP550-2 Valentino Balboni with 6k miles. Yes, it is an eGear... wish it was a manual gearbox! What do you guys think? Rare color for a Balboni, so I was sold as soon as I saw it. Thanks to Lamborghini North LA & Lamborghini Dallas for putting this deal together for me.
  9. I joined this forum when I was in the process of purchasing my 94 red Diablo VT, owned it for years and then Mr. Cats sold it for me and I bought my orange 06 Murci through him... which I have since sold to someone in Los Angeles. A Jalpa would be fun, an LM002 would be even more fun, but since the Gallardo prices are pretty low right now, I had to do it.... Interesting results... I must look like a Jalpa guy?
  10. Those days are over. Now you are best to contact the Polo Storico department: [email protected]
  11. Thanks for all the replies, will be posting pics soon! Any other votes? I will be bringing this new bull to Monterey.. cannot wait!
  12. Thanks for voting and making this a fun thread! I will reveal in a day or two here in this thread before anywhere else!
  13. Just the windows? Or are you talking about the tail lights too? Windows.. 300 bucks.
  14. Wow, just read this entire thread - I am sorry to hear about your experience. I had an 06 Murci, and it was a FANTASTIC car, all service done by Lamborghini Orange County, and then Lamborghini Newport Beach. I have since sold the car, and the new owner now has over 70k miles on it! With minimal repairs! A few thoughts: -always buy the best example you can afford (you can rarely buy the less expensive car and bring it up to the next level cheaper than just buying that next level car) -I do not know anything about the mechanics you mentioned, but your situation seems to be getting more and more complicated. You might start from scratch with a completely new mechanic / shop that is known for A+ work. -Do you end up making the transaction through Ebay? I do not know the details of it, but Ebay offers (or once offered) some sort of purchase protection. I know this because years ago someone bought a Diablo, it arrived with issues, and they somehow got eBay to help resolve it.
  15. LP'rs, I am fortunate enough to have picked up another lambo... for a DEAL in my opinion, hence the buy. Thought it would be fun to see how good my friends can guess! Hint: I have not owned an example of this model before.
  16. I have seen different pods added to the car for small speakers, most of them look TERRIBLE. I would stick with the OEM locations and make the best of it.
  17. Well, maybe one that was built in late 2008....
  18. A PPI is always a good idea! You want to make sure you understand the issues the car has, even if small.
  19. A great deal for anyone who would like to join the club - free shirt with new join or rejoin! Join the Lamborghini Club here. Already a member? Send me a PM with your shirt size and we will send you one of these USA edition Automobili Lamborghini t-shirts!
  20. Anyone hear about this? Hope that no one was hurt!
