  1. I highly doubt the Ford GT will hold its value like a Lamborghini or a Ferrari because then isnt the old GT40 from the 1960s. The new car has had some problems from the factory if you havent heard about it so most likely no one is going to take that chance of laying down the bread for a 150k lemon if you know what i mean. Also the car was orginaly designed to compete with the 360 modena and things have changed since. Now it competes with the Gallardo and F-430, Viper SRT-10 and C6 Plastic mess-06 what makes you think it stands much of a chance against a MurcielagoR-GT or Enzo?. I agree the GT will be fast but i highly doubt it will be like the 60s were the GT-40 was almost unbeatable. It already has many problems according to Ford. Jesus Christ............ Aram, can I? Pretty please?
  2. Youre going to put a fcuking GT42 on a camaro? Jesus Christ, I want to hear more about this when its done.
  3. Cliffs notes to Kens post: stop being a brand nazi. I agree entirely, but at the same time I sympathize, in that it is certainly difficult to remain objective when quantifying the performance of the car of your choice.
  4. Congrats, Aram, that is a very nice, classy car. I dont care much for the back, but the front and side-view is fantastic, and I hear its got a pretty peppy motor too!
  5. I'd imagine 50k plus. SW has a great rep, but the technology used on the car is old.........the alphabet soup for engine management, T72, etc. Then again, it works well (that car went into the 9s years ago) and has been hardly driven. Not to mention its one of the nicest looking cars Ive ever seen. Even without the funny fuel, it will easily be a 500rwhp car, but with a laggy-ass powerband. Just make sure youre pointed straight when the needle gets past 4500rpms!
  6. vipimports.com is your friend. Get SWs old car.
  7. Got a 227/224 Cam on a 114LSA, nice and streetable. 30lb injectors. Dual electric cutouts. And a 100shot! My fearless prediction: 420rwhp/390rwtq on the motor. 550rwhp/570rwtq on the bottle. The GM LSx blocks LOVE the "nawz." And the cam is nice and streetable, but it will definitely sound vicious through the cutouts. Should be a 130mph car.......still stuck in the 13s.
  8. I don't see why people keep calling them "twins" they aren't twins, they are sequential! 300zx, now that is a true twin turbo. True, but you would need to take that up with about ten billion other people who refer to the car as a twin turbo. I personally think its bullshit semantics. What are you going to say......oh, there goes that supra with two turbos? Besides, a lot of supra owners configure the turbos to spool together, also known as TTC (True twin configuration).
  9. Not quite. The fuel system is good to 500rwhp. The stock twins (not single) are pushing hot air, and pretty much useless after 20psi (wont last very long at that level either). Good to 450rwhp MAX, on race gas. The power you make depends upon the turbo selection, and the amount of boost, as well as the supporting mods. My friends car made 750rwhp with a HUGE turbo, but fairly new technology, so he had a pretty decent powerband, at 24psi. There was lots more left in the turbo, but he was beating people down left and right, didnt need to turn it up. Another guy I know made nearly 600hp at low boost on pump gas with an extensively reworked head, and a medium-ish sized but well suited for the application-turbo.
  10. And yet you frantically masturbate to the gallardo, which shares most of its switchgear with the OH so exclusive audi A4? :jack
  11. You need to add "Allan" to that list, seeing as you carry the flag for AN ENTIRE COMPANY.
  12. I wasnt saying you would do it on purpose. I just have a feeling it might happen.
  13. Doug Levin Motorsports. Theres a couple of used ones out there. The guy builds scary-powerful vipers, and they are dead reliable to boot.
  14. The 911 Turbo is a great choice for someone who needs one car, and wants the best of everything. Its fast, practical, and all you badge humpers have something to mount inbetween praising yourselves on internet forums. The viper is a loud, obnoxious and unpleasant pos. But its more of a toy than a 911TT. And youre basing your car decision on what someone else says you should get?
