  1. I wouldn't do it. Just wait for the right color, it's only time and I bet you have other cars you could enjoy in the meantime.
  2. Going to have to disagree with this...We use VS at my detail shop and will always recommend it over 3M due to VS having less orange peel and being easier to work with. And as someone else said, always ALWAYS opt for full hood/full fender coverage. These cars do not deserve a line running across the hood.
  3. someone got it!! as for the rest of you...it's clearly just LP with its own version of a "warm welcome".
  4. I swear.... I don't know what it is they put in your moderators's water dishes over here but you guys need a good dose of and a big heaping scoop of
  5. How'd you know I ride goofy? (skateboard reference for Kalis in the house!) Funny thing is that picture was taken about 10 minutes away from me at the Solstice parade. It was cold what can I say?
  6. As I said in my first post on the subject...I don't know Ray but I respect his collection and his enthusiasm. He has never given me any reason to show any disrespect and it's not intended. I'm attempting to illustrate that SM's request for owner's proof of insurance should've been a clear indicator that Ray's insurance would be PRIMARILY covering anything that happened.
  7. Right, because it is the internet's responsibility to judge someone's character based on how forum members choose to interpret the facts? For all of you to say Bill didn't handle the situation well or hasn't taken responsibility is just wild to me. How many of you were there? How many of you have crashed someone else's car and handled it "well". How would you suggest he try and make some good of it? Bill didn't tell him, "I will never be able to tell you what happened" because of malice and spite. He said it because he was hurting, drugged up, foggy, and truly doesn't know what happened. The guy who crashed my FGT also says he was driving around at the posted speed limit and the car all of a sudden went sideways into a guardrail. If you think Ray's car looks bad, you should've seen mine. My friend ALSO can not tell me how it happened. Do I believe that he is lying and was hammering on it? No, b/c I know how fast things can get out of hands at speed limit speeds. Again, my friend was okay, I was made whole...all that's important. The lack of a garage keeper's policy will be a lesson that Bill carries forward from that day onward. However, his personal policy did what it was designed to do...and that's default to the primary (car's owner). He didn't send Ray a bill for the doctor's visit, his insurance company sent Ray's insurance company a bill for the ER visit, because that's what it's designed to do. This is well known about Bill, if the customer insists on test drives, he makes sure to collect the customer's insurance information. As both Tommy and I have said, if this is a red flag for the customer, that was Ray's chance to say "no thanks, I'll test it myself". Maybe you guys should stick to funny pictures, cause whenever you try and post "the facts" or comment on the facts, you just look silly.
  8. I'm staying Tommy, thanks for all your kind words and support.
  9. it is appreciated...I was having a hard time understanding the sex toys and poop jokes. thanks
  10. I claimed to have left the topic once. But with such a riveting, high brow conversation of great substance, how could I possibly?
  11. Yep, super lame. It's like talking to 5th graders with you guys.
