  1. You're joking right???Just what i need.Another young punk asking another stupid question. You must be oblivious to your surroundings.Anyone with any knowhow would pick a Lambo over a Ferrari on any given day.And you're right, there is no need to argue this point.Prestige is not directly related to sales volume.I don't want to see Lambos at every street corner and it is not likely to happen. And talking prestige to me,why bring up the Ford GT.??That is supposed to be prestigious??Ford has done such a fabulous job with the car that it already has had a bunch of serious recalls.I like the way the car looks but the finish is just like a kit car. Why would i buy a Gallardo??? Because i want to and because i can. What is your claim to fame???A fake MIT card or the Cobra that does not exist?? When you become your own man, come talk to me,in the meanwhile keep your dumbass questions with no substance to yourself
  2. Hey James I will be in Sarasota as of this tuesday for a whole week.Do you come this way at all???There also is a race in Sebring this coming weekend i believe. One of my friends is running .I might head there on the weekend.
  3. Not as ugly as some i have seen but pretty bad. There was a pic of one of these in Beverly hills.Might be the same car. I hate kit cars :axe: :axe: :axe: :axe:
  4. Alex i am going to put Mark under the gun.I have no doubt he will deliver
  5. The truth will be revealed when i come across a 430 on the street and beat it just like every other Ferrai i have come aross so far. And i don't see Lamborghini rushing to bring an SV to the market. It is all speculation at the present time but it is probably 2 years away.If they were so concerned they would have upped the HP on the convertible by more than 20. It is a very well know secret that the Gallardo had to be detuned before its commercial release so that not to upstage the Murci
  6. I like the Lowenhart LDR but chrome is too much flash .Maybe gunmetal grey as someone suggested
  7. Ando kiter masary. Ana bfham arabi
  8. What sold me on the car was the back seats.I am almost 6 feet tall and i sat in it and it was very comfortable with adequate leg room and plenty of head room. Shahram The acceleration is outstanding. The car feel very strong.I only spent about 15 min driving it and no highway but i can imagine what it would do under full throttle kickdown .
  9. Those wheels are really loud.I need something a little more understated
  10. Any thoughts on some aftermarket wheels???I need to pimp it a little bit
  11. Relax Jay, I will pick up the car when i come back from vacation and post some pics. Pakisho Thank you I test drove the Bentley yesterday and it is one sweet ride.Very smooth over bumos yet fantastic pickup and fabulous cornering specially for such a tank
  12. Man is that ever ugly :vom: :vom: :vom: :vom: :vom: :vom:
  13. I have been looking for a sporty daily driver that can seat 4 adults comfortably and the Bentley rocks.Amazing power and fabulously finished. Silver with black interior. I can't wait to drive it home
  14. I don't mind the looks of the Jarama at all.I think they look quite nice and i wouldn't mind owning one. They just aren't very fast. You are going to get smoked by integras.
  15. Jarama market is flat. Not that many for sale and not too much money. You can't compare it to the Miura mind you,it is not a sports car
  16. Rather arrogant and presumptuous aren't you! Did you see what I wrote right after that sentence? I doubt many of you guys have taken apart your Lambo's farther than I have take the 99 apart. I wasn't aiming that line that I know more about the Lambo's mechanical system than most of the guys here in a bad way. I just didn't think most older established and obviously super successful guys who own Lambo's will go changing their own clutches or ripping half the top end apart. I didn't mean it in any type of aggresive way here. I called noone here a "technical moron". I also didn't say I know more than EVERYONE, I said MOST and it's a valid statement. I even wrote that obviously any Lambo tech will school me in working on Lambo's, but that's besides the point. I am at the top of my game here in the North East and many poeple come to me and my buisisness for special needs. Rob, I didn't ignore your post, I forget to reply to it because I wrote so much. I feel privilaged to go for a ride in your 360 and get to meet you, it would make my week, or month. We just have to wait for this damn snow to go away. Like I said, I have driven my friends Stradalle, but being in the pressance of another 360 again will only make me even that much more comfortable in the car, and make my blood boil to get an exotic already. Since you are close and it's important for me to earn Allan's respect, maybee you'd like to see a few cars Iv'e put together and report back. I seriously doubt that anyone here in this area would want to TT their Lambo, but ti's worth a try. And I still love the way most Lambo's and Ferrari''s look. That's why I'll have one in a year or so. Limey, thanks for the explanation on the test they put the 430 through. I will gladly retract that statement I made about 430's wacking Lambo's. I have no issue with that. It is unfortunate the magazines do that shit, but how was I suppost to know. It's also partially my fault because I guess I saw the worst times in the magazines about the Lambo's and saw the times for that 430 going downhill. Just from this thread, my perspective on Ferrari vs. Lambo has changed almost 180 degrees. I am really not trying to be arrogant at all in my posts. I am very humble in person and you guys obviously misunderstood me. I am a top level racing/fabrication/auto tech and the only reason I said I am more mechanically adept in working in a Lambo is that reason. If all of you do what I do all day long, day in and day out, I'd swallow my words and this would be the last message board I'd ever need post in. There would be no need to go elseware. I am sorry if I offended anyone, but I guess I was misunderstood. There's no need for all the "owned" pics. And like i said before, having older rich guys as friends makes me smarter which is good. How can we get you to condense your posts??? :axe: :axe: :axe:
  17. 6 series doesn't look that but it sure drives nice
  18. John At this rate you are not going to make too many friends here. How arrogant of you to call most of us technical morons. You don't even know us and you come off firing on all cylinders. If you want respect and recognition,a little humitlity wouldn't hurt to begin with. And it would be nice if you can express your opinion without writing a newspaper.
  19. John Welcome to the board. Your 1st post and you want to stir things up.Hmmmm. :-k It is a Lambo board after all. Some of the guys already beat me to it but i will elaborate. We don't hate all Ferraris, just most of them because in a lot of cases they just don't measure up to the hype. As Robbi mentioned, drive a 360 and after you have driven one tell me how you feel about the car specially if you paid over 200k for one.The 360 is not the only Ferrari to fall in that category. How about the 328,348,355,456,550,612. Not one of those cars is exciting. To add to that,Ferrari dealers treat everybody like shit and a large majority of the owners have attitude. The 430 finally has really good performance but it would not have happenned if the Gallardo didn't show up on the scene. That is a brief summary Enjoy the site
  20. Looks like a bastardized Murci
  21. Tiamo i owned an LP400 for 12 years. It was serial number 1120086.It was an absolutely beautiful car and i spent a lot of time restoring it and improving some areas so that it became much more driver friendly.By the time i was finished with the car,it probably was and still is to this day one of the best LP400's around. I finally got tired of it and sold it to the US.I spoke with the second buyer and it seems it is now sitting in Gary Bobileffs shop. I think a good price for an LP400 is about $100 to 110K US.I consider the LP400 to be the collectors Countach as it has the nice clean lines without wings and flares. Is it the best Countach???I don't think so as the c/t evolved throughout its production years and some of the later models are superior to the LP400 in performance, ergonomics and reliability. Having said that i think the best c/t is the 5000qv and not the 25th or any other model. Supply and demand is what determines the value of a car.You obviously know that so i am not telling you anything new. If you watch the c/t marketplace, you will see that an LP400 is already commanding a premium over the other models.I have seen a couple of cars in the USA advertised at 110k which i believe is a very fair value. That is about 40k more than a good QV and the QV is the better car. Comparing the c/t to the Miura, the SV is the better car of the series and imo it is way overpriced as it has become a status symbol. It is not that much better than an S and certainly not 250k better. Unfortunately for Lambo enthusiasts, the SV market seems to be controlled right now by a bunch of speculators and not real car people which is a shame because it means they will keep being garage queens. I think the c/t market is not in the same position at the present time and that being so the cars are still affordable. Will that change in the future??? TIME WILL TELL Aram
  22. Average was 40 litres/100,yes 40. Maximum was 43L/100 .Absolute pig. Bear in mind we had our foot in it all the time, max rpm and max speed when possible.Still terrible
  23. Is this a concept JimmyJ or are they producing it???
  24. It is some sort of imitation suede. Not nice at all underneath the windshield because it causes a lot of glare and shines under the sun
