  1. Neither of these two cars is Udo's old car. His old car was serial number ela12784. I thought the same thing as you at first. Cheers Jim
  2. I agree, here's a shoot of it in action. Cheers Jim
  3. Another option to the polarizing filter is to take the shot in an area, like you did in this shot, that has clean reflections. The large size of the black car in the photo will trick the camera into overexposing the shot. I took the liberty of taking your shot and cropping some of the photo. I also darkened the photo with a neutral density overly to correct the exposure. I straightened the photo, cloned out the beer can in the gutter and added a little vignetting to shift the focus to the car. Anyway I thought you may be interested in some photo editing techniques. Other recommendation; If you had shifted your position a little you could have eliminated the reflections in the roof. If you had shot the photo with a larger aperture you could have blurred the background, minimizing it as a distraction. Cheers Jim Before After
  4. I will have to see if I can get a photo, there are three mounts on the car. Two on the side for the stock muffler and one in the middle behind the differential for the sport exhaust. The center mount is not obvious at first, but it should be there. I asked the same questions about a year and half ago. Cheers Jim
  5. There is a mount just behind the differantial for the Ansa style muffler i.e. it is a center mount. Cheers Jim
  6. SV's are generally $1.2M to $1.4M for a car in similar condition as this one. I notice the front wheels on this one are not SV so it could be a P400 or S conversion to SV specs. If that is the case they generally sell for the price of the base car which is somewhere around half the price of an SV. Cheers Jim
  7. Yes it is my car, but I did not buy it from them. Appearantly it did not sell when Steve had it. I bought it years later. Yes it has been a good car. Cheers Jim
  8. Did you see the white one that was at Steve Harris in 2004? Just wondering if you have any info on it. Cheers Jim
  9. The Date code is a US regulation set by the DOT. A quick search of the internet will show you how to read it. Note prior to late seventies or eighties something there was no requirement. Then it was a 3 digit code with the first two numbers the week of manufacture and the last number the year. Later they switched to a 4 digit code with the last two numbers being the year. Please verifiy this though, I am going by memory. Cheers Jim
  10. Here are some more. This one should tell you where I am located... AZ Details It's not as pretty as a restored car but it is a survivor Original owners notes Drivers view View out the back, note the air cleaners and the CT following me Cheers Jim
