  1. Only 4 spots left for Day 1 ( Day 2 (>750WHP) is also filling up quickly with 37 cars currently between 900-1850WHP (the bulk being 1250-1500WHP). More details at www.slipstreamRE.com
  2. Day 1 is just about sold out for all you non-forced induction Lambos, and day #2 is starting to round out as the faster cars are finishing up builds/refreshes
  3. Looking forward to seeing it in action at Pocono, and then subsequently upgraded more before the next one
  4. REGISTRATION IS NOW LIVE! (FYI, a racer pass for either day also counts as a single spectator pass for the opposite day)
  5. Here is a lengthy write-up from one of our photographers of the July 10th event. https://loganwarfield.wordpress.com/2015/07...-racing-events/ Great words and photos from the race, I picked up a most of the lambo highlights below. If you share any of these please at the very least give the photographer some credit for his hard work...Logan Warfield of Photo. One
  6. So a quick update for the October EAST COAST CALL OUT event: To better meet the demand for racers across all power levels we've decided to expand the event into two days. Day 1: All cars under 750WHP - A full day designed to meet the demand of the lower power guys Day 2: All cars over 750WHP - A full day dedicated to the Big HP guys. Fewer cars, more track time, more unique match ups We've also restricted the event to combat sandbagging, which has been an issue since day one. Classes for competition will be based on statistical data and standard deviations from each day's individual data set. Sponsors will have first dibs on available spots. Public registration goes live in another week with some early-bird deals.
  7. Pete's car shattered all the myths I heard about UGR car a few years ago. I picked up my 911TT from my tuner on the way to the track this year and traveled the same route he took, its amazing that something with that much power can comfortably just drive to, perform all day, and drive back no issue. Where on the other hand, 500HP M3s and most of the big power GTRs were being trailered in. Sure some people just want to keep the miles down, but whats the point if you can't let yourself enjoy the car every opportunity you get? On any car I've modded that has been the line in the sand, I never want to cross the threshold of not being able to reliably and comfortably enjoy the car on the street. The only time I could see myself trailing to the track is if I need the room to carry other stuff/people I saw a picture this week of a local built TTG catching fire after just 1 month on the build
  8. I'll keep you guys in the loop, I've already fielded questions from Pete. Sponsors get dibs first and then the remaining spots go to the public in about 2 weeks. There are 4-5 UGR powered cars that I believe are interested at the moment, band together and represent Really looking forward to seeing your car in action, as I'm sure you are too. If what I read is correct, you'll be in line for a stage 2 or 3 shortly after...fair warning
  9. Its official, Slipstream will be back at Pocono on Oct. 18 https://www.facebook.com/events/1461259557507286/ The details on registration will follow soon. We are strictly limiting it to 30 cars per class this time, and giving preference to sponsors first. E-Mail [email protected]; RE: ECCO SPONSORSHIP if you're interested.
  10. I recently heard (can't verify if its true), that an offer of $1MM was made for 1 of the 3 manual trans. SVs. The offer was turned down
  11. Here's the first of the many videos to come, a quick recap from the crew at Flag Nor Fail / Speed Warehouse (I'm sure many of you remember their "Vipra" from 2K earlier this year)
  12. 1800ft + significantly warmer/more humid weather. Also this time around only fair runs with a target speed of 60 MPH counted, anything between 55-65 MPH was fair game, but .01 over or under was a DQ.
  13. Glad you and your son had a great time. I'll have to get you your trophy
  14. UGR cleaned up yesterday at Slipstream's 2nd annual Roll Out To Reach Out event held at Pocono Raceway. Taking the top spots for MPH and ET. - HIGHEST MPH - Vinnie and his Underground Racing Superleggera at 180MPH - LOWEST ET - Pete and his Underground Racing Superleggera at 6.62s Congrats guys!
  15. High run of the day so far 202MPH (GTR)
  16. Bags are packed, now anxiously waiting for my 6AM flight. What are everyone's plans for tomorrow evening?
  17. The S63 color combo looked badass today
  18. Its been horrible recently. I finally have my turbo back and haven't had the chance (read balls) to turn it up past its lowest setting
  19. I've heard of the company in the Supra/Porsche/GTR world and the reviews we're mixed at best. I never dealt with them, so I can't speak directly...esp. for the TTG platform. However, that color combo + 6 speed!!!!
  20. Even though RO2RO is a charity event designed to just be a fun day of racing, we're introducing a series of novelty awards (no payouts) to bring some competition into the mix!
