  1. I'll be there! I'm not racing, but looking forward to putting faces to all the names
  2. Showing off new air-to-water cooling capabilities
  3. What do they do for engine management? That could play a bit of a roll
  4. Confirmed. Thank god its something they can walk away from and not a roll or crash
  5. Stopped by Undercover this morning to check on the progress. The car is just about done, we gave it its first start up...now its a matter of hiding some cables and getting the car tuned. Here's the best shot I could get of the fender well intakes: Wye pipe w/ dual Tial QRs is in place Really liking the new exhaust tips (the previous set up was slash-cut) Some other cool projects in the background, HKS1000 GT-R & Tommy's 996TT monster 1st start-up video (Pre-tuning)
  6. The infamous NY Badge Mod, I see it on AMGs and ///Ms all the time
  7. Very nice as always! Glad I'm seeing more and more UGR builds pop up in the NE
  8. lol you've gotta do it at some point...I'd actually like the wrap the car white this year
  9. Figured while I'm waiting for the car I may as well freshen up the 1 part I'd see/touch the most. Thick padding + alcantara + speed yellow stitching by Exact Art Fabrication
  10. The exhaust is now 100% done and mounted on the car. The y-pipe will finish test fitment tomorrow and then its over to the dyno for tuning. The guys over at Fabworx/UC did an amazing job on the fabrication...I wouldn't mind hanging one of these on the wall
  11. Wow, great to have a TTG that local! I just moved from East Windsor, but I'm still down in that area frequently. The basics on the April event are here http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=74589 or feel free to PM me. Its a great place to stretch the car's legs and line up with some of the fastest cars in the area...all for a good cause too
  12. Enjoy it in great health buddy! Now, where are the pictures?
  13. So what if theres another faster TTG, there are plenty of other cars you can send home crying Pete needs the Lambo brethren On another note, the other day we made our decision on the charity for this year. For RO2RO v.2 Slipstream Racing Events will be partnering with & making our donation to Camp Quality New Jersey. All proceeds from the event will help with that donation. Camp Quality is a volunteer-driven organization that provides year-round programs for kids living with cancer, all with the focus of improving their quality of life. "Unlike other programs, each of our fun activities at the camp are carefully selected to ensure that the activity builds life skills, encourages group interaction amongst campers and companions, and offers a high impact lasting memory. Companions and the Program/Activity Staff at camp work together to encourage children to try new activities and challenges that allow them to leave their “Comfort Zone" in an attempt to build emotional strength and life skills. All of this is delivered at no-cost to the families & caregivers." Early-bird pricing is in effect through Jan. 31 and registration is first come, first serve. Once a class is filled it'll be closed. 14. I've spilled bits & pieces across the forum, but I'm finally taking a few minutes to log everything in one place. Starting Point: 2002 996 Turbo w/ X50 package, Undercover catless x-pipe exhaust, eurodyne tune, 5 bar FPR, and H&R springs Goal: I didn't necessarily have a target number in mind, but the overall goal here is to create the "ultimate street car." That means different things to different people, to me that is reliable, drivable, comfortable, and hella fast. The car also needed to be in a more competitive state for the various roll-race events. For 2015 the focus will shift to suspension & braking. Planned Upgrades: I went to Garth at Undercover Performance for everything. He helped me put a plan together that would accomplish my near-term goals while keeping things ready if I want to jump to the next level K24/20 Turbos w/ clipped wheels, filters mounted to turbos (ceramic coated) ProEFI 112 EMS w/ E85 support UC Fuel System Upgrade (Walbro 460, Bosch 044, 1400cc inj, UC fuel rails) Updated Undercover X-Pipe Exhaust (added mufflers, new tips, and plumbed the wastegate dumps into the system) UC headers w/ ext. precision 46mm wastegates (ceramic coated) IPD Plenum 997.1TT Intake UC Y-Pipe w/ dual BOVs Welded coolant pipes ERP Twin Disk Carbon clutch GT2 Slave conversion Forge boost hoses Status: I stopped by the shop yesterday and we are almost ready to hit the dyno for tuning. My exhaust and y-pipe will receive their final touches this week and I'm hoping to finally pick up the car sometime next week. Here are some pictures of the journey:
  15. 60+ projects, that's BONKERS! Keep it up guys, we're all waiting to see whats coming
  16. It's that time of year again...builds are wrapping up and everyone is looking forward to a season opener. SlipStream Racing Events is starting off 2015 with the 2nd annual Roll Out To Reach Out race day. Roll Out to Reach Out 2014 was a huge success. Through the event we were able to donate $10,000 in tribute of the late Paul Walker to his personal charity Reach Out Worldwide. Since that event our Pocono Race Days have grown in size & magnitude, with racers making the journey from as far as Montreal. For 2015 we’re looking to continue to grow what our community has helped us build with the 2nd annual RO2RO race day. This year we’re shooting for minimum donation goal of $15,000 (charitable organization TBD) and to expand our close-knit family of racers. Racers and their guest will enjoy a full day of class-grouped & open-format racing within the walls of the iconic Pocono Raceway. In addition to attracting some of the fastest cars in the country, we give enthusiasts at all power level the opportunity to compete against a wide spectrum of makes & models at all power levels.
