  1. There was one particular corner where the car got amazing traction out of in comparison to other cars I've seen run that track. That surprised me more than anything else. Driver did seem to get it a bit crossed up in the second to last corner. Anyone else think the time could actually be faster than what they recorded? Or do they just show one of the few laps they do on the day and report the fastest lap time?
  2. Because a tune gives you a lot more power than an exhaust I think
  3. I'm suggesting that you not say that a moderator is giving you misinformation. That is all. It adds nothing to this discussion. Lambo has given Huracans on Trofeo R in several other tests, notably at Hockenheim and Vairano. It is not unexpected for them to take the same tires to Top Gear. You really need to take a grain of salt with Top Gear lap times, since tire technology keeps making leaps and bounds season after season. Even the old Michelin Pilot Sport Cups are no match for MPSC2. Corsas are really really not in the same realm as Trofeo R. It's not rocket science. On a tight track with AWD and stickier tires, the Huracan is a weapon. That's all I'm saying. You can't make comparisons to cars on old rubber because like you said, they can simply swap tires to modern compounds
  4. Hate to break it to you, but a dogbox shifting at 60 milliseconds is not faster than a DCT. Did you see those Alphas move out? Darn near seamless power put down
  5. I'm worried that the Speciale will post a blazing time. MPSC2's are even stickier than Trofeo R
  6. Tires have a huge impact on laptime. Please feel free to try both tires. Watch the P1 vs 918 video and you can surmise the difference between Corsas and Trofeo R
  7. Honestly think it's close to a full second on this track.
  8. I answered why the Huracan put down that time. The Aventador, Gumpert, and any other car so far on that track did not have tires as sticky as Trofeo R. Aside from the Huayra. And you saw what happened there.
  9. Car likely had trofeo r tires on it, which makes a big difference on a tight track
  10. As an aero engineer, I'll put in my two cents. It wasn't aero lift that caused this spin. The car was on full boost, shifted and the weight transfer slightly changed, and went full power again and spun the tires. This car did this twice already. The last time it did it, i don't think it even got to 4th. This is an engine management issue
  11. 1.3's my ass. LMFAO, on that surface? You'll be lucky to get 1.5's
  12. Still sounded like the shift could be a little faster in some of the gears, unless that's an egear limitation. Crazy to think that some guys are going billet blocks running straight methanol to try and beat this at TX rolls.
  13. Up and coming 675R will be the absolute nuts, both in looks and in performance. Will really change the game. Can't wait for Geneva
