Gallardo SE gone, driving a CLK63 AMG Black Series now
  1. Am I wrong in thinking the Super Capacitor and all it's development will go no further than the Sian. It appears they're just going the electric battery route like every one else.
  2. Better hope it's so loud it's being restricted by Nurburgring noise regulations, but I'm not holding my breath.
  3. Does anyone know if they're having a hospitality tent for owners/enthusiasts. I know they have this in Europe, but not sure if they're bringing this setup here too.
  4. Great stuff guys. Really enjoying the real world reports.
  5. The performance is not there. I had a GranSport and that was a bit more of a sports car and thought the GranTurismo S would be a step up in performance with better looks. I was let down and backed out of a deal for one. This is going back a year when they first hit our shores in the States. If you have the mindset of getting a daily driver that looks good and sounds great then you can't lose, but if you have the mindset that its all that and will perform and be exciting to drive, you'll be let down. The GranSport to me was the total package, the GranTurismo S is more show than go.
  6. I'll take a Gallardo or a LP560-4, makes no difference. Thanks, did a search and couldn't find it.
  7. Are the fuel tank and oil tank placed anywhere different on the Super Trofeo cars? Does anyone have a cut-away drawing of how a Super Trofeo is different?
  8. I read on another site that it was Lambo's own Manfred Fitzgerald that pulled the guy from the fiery crash wearing a short sleeved shirt admist the fire.
  9. With the 458 and now the 599 GTO, Ferrari's of technology is bringing us ever closer to real race cars for the road and yet they can be tamed with a flip of the manettino for the everyday Joe to handle.
  10. Can anyone look up recent Manheim prices? I'm considering taking the plunge and want to see what they're going for lately.
  11. Some guys on Benz boards are saying that price being quoted is not the US price, expect it more in the $240-250K range, lets hope, otherwise the price kills the excitement of this car.
  12. 2006 Gallardo SE, this is number 148 of 250 built. Currently only 1151 miles on it. No stories, hasn’t been tracked, interior and exterior look brand new, just as about perfect as they get. Has clear bra on front and partly on sides of car. I purchased it at Lamborghini Ohio, but it currently resides in Las Vegas. It’s a 6 speed manual, so as many will tell you on this board, it’s a more involving and rewarding experience to drive. Feel free to send my a PM or email me at [email protected] Asking $186,000 Thanks, Phil
  13. WOW!!! Test drive and Bugatti are not something that I would think go together. What a day it must have been.
