  1. I think you are right. All the older cars are sitting on dealer lots for a very long time, especially the 12s and 13s. I think coupes will be priced well under $200k mark in order to move them. Market was inflated for a long time on most of the exotics. I already saw SVJ selling for $450K... in a private deal last week. Another indication of a weirdly inflated prices are the last years of standard Aventadors 16s and 17s with price tags above 300k and Aventadors S at $320k. Why would someone pay 300k for an older model when you can probably negotiate the S in to the low $300k mark. This year the whole market will be in shock, early next year we will see the real adjustemnts happening. If the SV ever gets close to $300K I'm getting one to keep.
  2. Just want to confirm where did you get the info on the 4000 build units? Is your car 4000?
  3. Man! That black paint looks Terrible!!! When I was a kid, I painted my first motorcycle with black spray paint and it looked exectly like this car. Or here in NYC you can see exact paint on many black car limos that were invloved in god know how many accidents and painted over 20 times with a compressor and spray gun from homedepot. Well this will be a great project car for someone with a better taste in custom work, someone who is looking for a cheap aventador that needs alot of work! if the dealer is willing to take big chunk of the asking price That 500hp upgrades... Just sad... Or just put a nice custom wrap on it and act like nothing happend
  4. Thanks for the replay It looks like this is a really sensitive topic here and guys don't want to predict whats going to happen in coming months. . I lost over $100k on a stupid Mercedes CL63 in 5 years of owning the car. And thats just how the market is whenyou want to drive a new model It sucks to see the value dropping so drastically but I'm used to germans loosing so much in first years of production. I wonder what will happen to Aventador and in the future with Huracan prices after seeing how many Aventadors where already build ( there is a VIN: 3652 already for sale in states) that means it will reach its 4000 car cycle really soon and i don't think they will stop production for at least couple more years. I wouldn't be startled to see at least 6000 cars build in next 2 years.
  5. Hi guys, I'm new to the forum although I have to admit that I read almost all of the topics here I just came back from a trip to Europe where my cousin bought 2012 Aventador. After driving the car and just staring at it for an hours, days and nights... Im hooked! I have to admit that with these prices well over $300k Its a little to much for me to spend right now but $260-$270k range for 2012 with up to 20k fully serviced miles will be something I would definitely pull the trigger on and probably have to listen to my wife complaining for another year:) So what do you guys think, when we will see 2012 Aventadors selling for under 300K? 2016? after people will start receiving their SV versions and trading their old Lambos? Im not sure if I'm right but from I can observe on cars.com or Dupoint it looks like cars in $350-360 range are already been sitting for a while now so maybe we will see some price reductions soon? Thank you for any advices and It would be really nice if my first post here will have a positive response.
