  1. What a way to distance yourself from new potential customers. One would expect this news from Ferrari, not Lamborghini.
  2. I want to see a Roadster in that spec now. That's how I would have speced mine. Verde Hydra is hot.
  3. That's indeed the previous version of the Super Trofeo racecar. Must be insane to drive it on the road and even more insane on the Ring. You can tell apart STO and Super Trofeo race car from the exhaust system. STO will be based off Super Trofeo Evo, but it will have a similar exhaust setup to the Performante and SVJ. Also STO will have a fixed/integrated roof scoop, thus it won't be an option like it is on McLarens. It comes standard.
  4. You will be surprised by how popular the RWD Spyder was. It was the 2nd or 3rd best selling model of the Huracan range right after the LP610-4 Coupe, matching the LP610-4 Spyder. After they screwed up with pricing for the Huracan Evo AWD, I wouldn't be surprised if the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder became their best selling model of the range.
  5. That one is still most likely half a decade out, if not more. Most likely will be fully electric too. Lambo is going to complete an existing model range. Which would mean Huracan range as it lacks the Evo RWD Spyder. Aventador's range is complete and the SVR is an SQ project. So that doesn't count into the main model range. Can't be Urus range either. Still no test mules of hybrid/hotter Urus.
  6. "Good news!" As James May would say. And Huracan EVO RWD Spyder is my "guess" for May 7th. "we will present a new car in order to complete our model range."
  7. What if it is the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder?
  8. Eh, that's sucks. Online events for the Huracan STO and Bugatti's kit car?
  9. If Qail happens we will see it there. If the car week goes under we might see it debut online.
  10. I really like this rendering Lambocars made: http://lambocars.com/images/lambonews/2020_huracan_sto.jpg But in reality it will look like this, except with a bit different spoiler and flatter front and rear bumper: https://squadracorse.lamborghini.com/sites/lamborghinisc/files/dam/car/super%20trofeo/Huracan-ST-evo_header.jpg
  11. Anyone know if the factory has shutdown yet due to the pandemic?
  12. I would compare the front as a mix between the EVO RWD and an Aventador SVJ. R. I. P 765LT (not in a straight line of course as it has around 670 ps) Can't wait for August to see it without any camo.
  13. True, what's the difference on the Aventador's speedo though? I know for Huracan it is around 10 mph between the speedometer and the GPS reading.
  14. Maranello's marketing board can be summed up in one word = Ooof.
  15. They have never been closer in sales than they are now. Worth noting is that Ferrari is the Disney of this story. Those 3.7 Billion are probably from everything combined, not just cars. Remember that they sell anything from Ferrari toilet seats to their own "Ferrari Disneyland" tickets. Another note should be added that Lamborghini has capped their production to 8500 cars for 2020 and onwards, while Ferrari has capped their's at 10000 cars for 2019 and onwards (they will expand to 12000 with the FSUV). The fact still stands, Lamborghini's growth has been incredible. 2 years ago Ferrari was selling the exact number of cars that Lamborghini has sold for 2019. Ferrari did that feat with 6+ platforms/models, while Lamborghini has done the same feat with 3 platforms/models.
  16. Surprised he didn't point out the exterior updates in more detail and connections the front bumper has to the R8 facelift
  17. Hope they go through with it. Maybe not in 2021, but later on. Would kill to see Lamborghini (with the all out race version of the Aventador's replacemant) compete against Aston's Valkyrie and the rest of the field.
  18. Amazing feat. The rest of the competition is spinning their heads and thinking about how this was possible. Reminds of the time the Vettes in GTLM won 1-2 side by side at the 24 Hours of Daytona.
  19. Sounds like Lamborghini will also skip Paris. VW themselves already announced they won't be attending and Lamborghini might follow.
  20. Since this is a way better spec than the last one sold it should fetch also more if everything goes well.
  21. There is no word if they will skip Geneva Motor Show in 2021 though. Last I heard (probably outdated by now) is that Lamborghini would launch the Aventador replacement at 2021 Geneva Motor Show. If that still is the case then we should see test mules rolling out this year.
  22. Now it has been confirmed by themselves. https://www.motor1.com/news/392699/lamborghini-skip-2020-geneva-show/ Also sales record at 8205 cars delivered. That's Ferrari numbers! So for this year the timeline and models look like this so far: Huracan Evo RWD Spyder When and where: Internet unveiling sometime in the summer or after the Quail? Squadra Corse Hypercar When and where: July 2020, Goodwood FoS. Huracan STO When and where: August 2020, The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering. Did I miss anything else?
  23. Nice, it's more fitting I guess. Thanks for the info.
