  1. Record-breaking season has started, fastest production car at the Hockenheim GP circuit
  2. I think so. When they talk about family members they mean models within a certain model (thus it excludes the LB48H). But as Reggiani said, it is still undecided it seems. Wouldn't be surprised if they come out with a final "extreme" edition of the Aventador, limited probably to a 100 or something like that. Since Aventador is still doing so well they seem to be pushing back the replacement.
  3. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-shows/geneva-auto-show/a26764640/the-next-aventador-will-have-a-naturally-aspirated-v-12-and-supercapacitors/ Change in plans it seems.
  4. My sources were not lying after all, it will be there and it looks absolutely beautiful. Give me one in Verde Hydra now please. Lamborghini doing open top take over of Geneva Motorshow.
  5. Talk about bait and switch. Only Huracan Evo Spyder at Geneva it seems.
  6. Pretty sure Urus is still faster in the real world like from 0-60 and etc. As proven in some magazine tests, reaching 189-191 mph ain't an issue for it either. Claims are claims, 1 mph doesn't makes a big difference, especially when you compare a Bentayga to Urus.
  7. The biggest surprise of Geneva 2019.
  8. One of them will be there. It's too soon for a performance version of the Urus. Evo Spyder coming a tad bit later.
  9. 2018 was an outstanding year for Lamborghini thanks to a huge growth in terms of new models&customers and a best-in-class Super SUV. Read the full overview below:
  10. I was talking about the worldwide allocations, not region or U.S specifically.
  11. Configurator is up: http://configurator.lamborghini.com/configurator/presets/hvc?lang=eng&country=us
  12. Honestly they started doing marketing right after 2014 (ask how many enjoyed that cringe Huracan teaser campaign ). Glad to see people enjoying it.
  13. The number of coupes (900+63 with the special carbon/paint edition) was namely created by market demand. Haven't heard anything about Lamborghini Spa cutting down the SVJ numbers, but "sold-out" status definitely hasn't been reached on the coupes yet. If Lamborghini was driven by limited production in front of "market demand" they would have made less SVJs than the SVs in the first place.
  14. Ohhhh, I thought the lower rear part would be black (it looks horrid with it painted, like a Mustang GT lol). Full Apple Car Play support on launch is nice as well that ducktail design.
  15. Correct, at the moment at Lamborghini: Market demand → Limited production. The whole Murcielago SV case is why they started numbering their cars 1 of X amount, instead of car number x of X amount. It makes it harder to track how many cars are actually produced compared to the amount that was promised. (looking up and counting VIN numbers of limited models individually is essentially the only way). The amount of both the Aventador and Huracan lines are produced in order to satisfy the market demand, even the limited models like the SVs and Performantes.
  16. Happy New Year everyone! Looking forward to even more discussions about Lamborghini in 2019 with all of you!
  17. Front bumper is inspired by this:
  18. Performante has it, but the earlier Huracan models does not. Centenario has it as well and that central screen is literally the same type as the Centenario one. So I presume if it isn't standard, at least it will be an option.
  19. It will be similar to the transition from the Gallardo to the LP560, just not on the same scale design wise and mechanically. Obviously the whole range will get the facelifted, even the LP580. It will have a similar lip spoiler to the LP560 Gallardo, but it will be static, no ALA. Similar specs to the Performante power wise, 620-30 HP, etc. A couple of new wheel options, central exhaust system. Big changes interior wise though (new digital dials/controls, similar to the Centenario, potential for Apple Carplay in the future.) (Photo is not mine) Spy shots for reference: If nothing changes debut as you said, will happen before the new year/similarly to how the LP610 was presented (Dec 20, 2013) (No silly marketing videos this time. Dec 21 or 28, can't remember.) Full public debut should happen at 2019 Geneva Motorshow. End product will look pretty much like this without the camo: There are a couple more things, but we are pretty close anyway so you all will have to wait and see.
  20. If you go Ad Personam on the "normal" SVJ you can make the 63 Edition look like a ricer's kit. I should know this, but wasn't China the 2nd largest Lambo market after U.S.?
  21. That's why you won't see any 200k loses when it comes to resale.
