Looks pretty rad. I don't like the liberty walk stuff I have seen on some cars but on a replica= all day long. This is what the replicas should be about. Not trying to copy OE cars, rather, taking the style and putting their own tastes to them. I love it. This car is drivable without the associated concers of carrying a million dollars around with you. Cars like this make real Miura even more special and don't take anything from them.

IMHO the substance has been proven to be less harmful than alcohol and has legitimate medical use. It's not an IF, but a when will it be declassified. A lot of people will get very rich off of this eventually. I'm not sure when ethics became an issue as there are far greater evils out there happening right now that I seem to be the only one here who has a problem with 😂

cheers man! Just think about it. We can't talk to eachother about common interests such as cars, without somehow getting into arguments over who has a bigger dick. Add in politics, money, religion.. it's amazing there is anything of value anywhere on the net. Imagine what will happen the day the alien ship arrives... HEARTBREAKER

Hits close to home. I don't hate my job at all. Actually, I love my job. I love what I do. BUT- it will never get me to where I want to be. Like you= I know that this is not what I was meant to do in the grand scheme of things. I am not running for the door, but I am planting seeds. Also just like you- I want to do something with Lamborghini. My own project has really given me a lot of confidence, but truthfully- I had plenty to begin with, considering what I took on. With that in mind, I would like to do exactly what was mentioned, reimagining Lamborghini. Taking a basket case car and making something of it= my way. I don't care what the purists say, it's a basket case to begin with. With flood cars likely about to pop up everywhere and a constant source of damaged cars out there.. I'll be having fun for a long time. That aside- I have also began sketching my own design. Seeing the inside of my 6.0 at the intimate level I have has made me very confident that I could design my own car. Manufacturing it- well, lets see how the design goes :-) I wish you all of the luck in the world. KB

I suspect this didn't go quite as Allan had hoped. Darn. Yes guys, as Allan attempted to skew to make me look bad, I am restoring a Diablo. Not all of the parts will be OEM for a number of reasons mentioned. There are actually a few of us out there who enjoy working on things and have taken on this very challenging project. I have kept it sort of out of site here because I didn't really want the criticism early on as that can be very discouraging. So what's my story? Well- a couple of years ago I decided that many of my previous hobbies had lost their charm for me and it was time to do something that's not a complete waste of money and time. Key word, complete. It's still a waste of time and money, like any hobby. Some points made which I will absolutely echo... NO= this will not be a $400k 6.0 example. NO= this will not be oe correct. With that being said, the car will have a lot of parts fabricated by me, it will have minimally, a Murcielago drivetrain and aftermarket EMU.. something I can program myself. Which? Don't know. I am many miles away from needing to even shop. Why murcielago drivetrain? Because they're readily available at what I feel are reasonable prices. I am holding out as long as I can for A 6.0 setup, but I'm no longer married to the idea. V12 Lamborghini is a certainty. It will sit as a roller as long as it needs to iuntil I can put it together. The car will have mostly OE suspension bits, with the exception of the shocks and possibly the lower front arms. I had already modeled the whole arm and had ball stud sockets machined because I intended on fabbing them. Still up in the air because arms aren't that expensive if you look hard enough. Already have a 9.9/10 set of 6.0 wheels, need tires but not any time soon. Ideally, a set of out of date tires in decent shape for rolling around purposes would be found, obviously to be replaced when the car is running. Already have some OE body panels here, as well as some aftermarket parts that were copied from OE. Some are quite nice and bolt up ready, others need a lot of work. Most of them will be re-mastered and then rerun as vacuum formed carbon fiber. I see nothing taboo about this after seeing the Countach restorations that were mentioned. I have fabricated a new steel roof skin and replaced 98% of the damage to the frame. This is where it currently sits. In the coming weeks, the chassis will be blasted and primed at which point I will be focusing on creating my own vacuum formed, carbon fiber floor panels to replace the steel floor that remained in the car but was beyond repair. What is the budget? There isn't one. I have no clock to punch. It will cost as much as it needs to and be completed when it's completed. I buy a part here, part there. Some parts are necessary (to me) to have OE, some are not. Please don't fool yourselves thinking these cars are technological marvels.. they're not. They are beautiful, they are glorious. They are nothing short of amazing!! All at the same time, just a steel frame with a V12 and a nice body. What is the end goal? To have a toy to play with on Sundays.

There you go assuming again.. No, I think we're a little north of that. Not much though. AND I went to the limit with the home. And the girls have an unlimited budget for softball.. So as laughable as you think it is, yep.. I'm restoring a Diablo. I buy parts when I can and I have liquidated/consolidated some other hobbies that had run their course and put them all into this car. I am in no rush. I'm also not dreaming that the car will be worth what a nice 6.0 example is worth. It keeps me home, it's teaching me a lot. The original point of it was to have something to show my girls. We are pretty adamant about teaching them that girls can do things too. Well, some of this is true.. the trolling.. lol.. giving back what I'm getting.. stubborn.. sure am, BUT.. moldable.. can be reasoned with can have mind changed.. HAVE had mind changed to some degree.. I am such a sucker.. no one reply to me= after this. That's all great Fortis, except that I feel that I manage our finances half way decently. We're not broke. I don't have excessive debt and we don't waste much money. Well, arguably. I don't have cable TV We don't have Hi speed internet because I already pay for internet with my cell. This is actually a burden. Our grocery bill is actually quite light compared to most families of four=I'm iwilling to bet. We don't go out to eat all that often. And I do work as hard as is needed. If extra time is required to meet a deadline, it's there. If not, I use my time for other projects of my own. I really don't sit still long. I don't watch TV. I don't sleep all day, I'm usually in bed early and up early. So just as every other assumption that's been thrown out there about me, you're also mostly wrong. You mention additional money and how it's spent. Well= he fact that it is spent means that someone else in here is benefitting. So with those extra dollars in someone else's business, means he can pay his employees more.. and then they can spend they're money somewhere else.. and on goes the dance. You can sit on your golden toilet and respond about how I'm wrong and know nothing, and keep playing the game like this. Eventually, it's gonna dry up. People aren't going to be able to spend. Houses will be foreclosed... auto loans defaulted.. and we will have another crisis...all because of the choking of the middle class/majority... Sooo.. I'm done. I've said how I feel, again.. and it's my right to feel this way. I'll continue to work and help improve the company that I work for, I'll also continue to think of ways to do my own thing. What I have taken from this is worth a lot to me, you fully admitted that by helping the wealthy, through tax cuts, means nothing for the rest of us. And for that, I still say I win.
