  2. Has anyone managed to find a good replacement for the three door window gasket seals part numbers 418837977,418837863,418837530 They are over £1000 per set even with the current Eurospares discount. Crazy.

  4. Wow fellas, that is not as easy a job as I thought. The dimensions of the shaft and worm gear have to be spit on as soon as you begin to assemble the motor the parts cause it to seize of as you clamp them up. I had to adjust the worm gear several times as it was biting top and then at the bottom. I also reduced the overall length from the recommended 19mm to 18.5mm. Its also difficult to remove the worm gear from the old shaft even with a puller. I hope Gruven begin of offer an exchange service as it would be a great service to go for. In any case both are working well. John
  5. Its listed ion the Gruven parts web site but search for Walkera W010 Gear Pinion Puller
  6. See thread above. Its an aftermarket part from Gruven
  7. OK fellas, so as I reported last week my drivers side was only a wiring fault but the passenger side is a motor burn out. The plastic gear is OK but I have ordered both the new gears and a new motor. I have to say that motor look very like the one I had in my Meccano set when I was a kid. Also ordered the recommended small pulley extractor from Amazon after reading that shaft of the new motor is a little short and you have to rework the old one. I let you know how it goes John
  8. Give it a go I just followed the guidelines and they were spot on. John
  9. Fellas, As I said before what a great write up. Owned my Murci for 20 months and the mirrors have never worked. This gave me the push to go and find out what was wrong. I disassembled the mirror and just before I started on the motor I decided to check the wiring. Low and behold the terminals were the wrong way around. Changed them over and now I have drivers side mirror working. Now for the passenger side. LOL The previous owner told me they he had burned out the motors five years ago. What are you betting if I had taken it to a Lambo garage I would have had to pay for a set of replacements? Check your wiring fellas. John
  10. Many thanks for the reply. I will be removing the mirrors in a couple of weeks and update on findings. Removing glass will be interesting John
  11. Great write up, I have been looking at how to dismantle my mirrors since I bought the car two years ago. I got to the point of remove g the glass and bottle it! Could I just check both my mirrors adjust but don't fold. There is no noise from the motor at all. Do you think I may have a different problem? I have just renewed the dash switch to fix the fuel filler flap. Any advice appreciated. Regards to all John
