  1. Factory Diablo parts manual (includes SVR). Has exploded views of everything with corresponding part numbers. I bought it from LOC in '01 or '02. It's in a generic 3-ring binder. If you are interested, let me know...feel free to PM me. Thanks!
  2. Looking for a nice one for private sale. Always wanted one but never committed...now ready. jfaldrich at yahoo dot com Thanks, John
  3. The last 3 or 4 times I went to the show at Pebble culminating around 1998 / 99, there repeatedly was a women in her early 60's that drove this car to the event...white with a narrow red and green stripe down the center. She always wore a garment that looked like a driving suit; she had driving gloves, some obvious jewelry and Carrera style sunglasses. She was always able to park on the frontage road near the north side of the club house. I remember asking about her and she was a regular in that car and apparently always drove it not only to the event but everywhere else. I am sure a picture exists via someone like me who attended during those years...I know I took some pics but they are forever burried in some random box.
  4. Hi, Not sure this was an option for me when I bought this. The two resonators are quite small, but truthfully I have never seen the Countach versions look any different than the one i purchased. I have a full Stebro system on my Islero and was not offered different noise level options. If you want a pic of it, just let me know as that may help with an answer. Thx
  5. I have an extra set of Asimmetrico 345 /35/ 15s if anyone is interested. They have maybe a few hundred miles on them (at the very most) but are fairly old...if someone can tell me where the date code is, I will post it. No sidewall issues. One tire is very nice and still fairly supple, the other has cracking on the circumference between the tread blocks. Not sure why one cracked as they were on the car together. At any rate, the cracked one is too nice to toss and the other is great for use now or as a spare. I bought a fresh set so don't need them. About 1 hr. north of LA...will ship if needed. Also have a brand new Stebro for the 4/500 series cars; will not fit QV. It 's a nice piece that is lightweight. Ceramic coated and never mounted. Bought a full QS set up so again, don't need it...although it does bolt up to the QS headers (or stock manifolds). Lastly, have a Ansa system for QV (only) that is fairly old...guessing at least 15 years but in great shape. Paint inside tips is good, decals too. Not made as well as the QS or Stebro but is still nice...doesn't sound as nice either in my opinion but I'm sure people will disagree with that. If you don't want to buy, I am open to trading for CT-related items. Thx. jfaldrich at yahoo dot com
  6. USA source for the Mich TB15's. They are very slightly more narrow but almost not worth noting. http://www.hotrodhanks.com/products/tires/...productID/11761
  7. I purchased a set of suspension joints / rods from Dean about 2 years ago. All is well with them and he is (from my perspective), a very nice guy. I would trust him as my parts were of good quality. I have ordered various CT parts from Kurt in the past although not the suspension items. I've been following this thread w/ interest as I have had some of the same grievances toward my transactions as those here have had w/ their suspension parts. I am easy to deal w/ and have been lenient but I'm beginning to wonder. You can PM me if anyone wants more info.
  8. I have an odd car (interesting for the right person), I would like trade for an older Lambo. Will trade up, down or across for a Jarama, Espada, or Jalpa. A very light project is fine. My car is a '97 Brabus E65 (6.5liter 450hp/488ft lb M119 motor); first Brabus engined car in US, only E65 in NA and one of 9 worldwide. Full Brabus build (including interior), original and maintained, low miles. Everything verifiable. If you like tuned Mercedes, other than the '87 AMG Hammer 6.0 this is the original one. If anyone is interested, feel free to email me here or at [email protected]. Would also be interested in non-Lambo oddball cars too. I'm a current owner of several Lambos so I'm not afraid of a funky car or one that's a bit needy. If a trade doesn't appeal to you, let's talk anyway. Thx.
  9. I'm tearing down my Countach motor. All the pics are for my reference and terrible memory so they aren't pretty, but they may be useful to someone here. It's a USA QV car. See at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnghini/
  10. Seems these are $280'ish per from Lambo. Anyone have any suggestions?
  11. Are these air temp sensors generic items that can be sourced outside Lambo? If not, wheres the best place to buy a couple? Thanks.
  12. Hi Russell, This is absolutely perfect...everything that I need you have shot. Many thanks!! Regards, John
  13. Hi, I am in the process of fitting the euro front bumper to my QV. Would someone w/ this conversion kindly take a few photos for me? I need a close up pic of the top intakes (the ones with the two 3-plane horizontal metal inserts); I need to know how far in they sit before I rivet them in place. Also need another pic of the correct gap that should be left between the top, inside horizontal edge of the bumper and the hood / fenders. I realize it will only fit in so far, but of course the factory part needs a lot of finishing so while I am pre-fitting, I have the option of trimming of adding to the amount that the bumper sits into the gap. Lastly, how do the front brake air intake hoses butt up to the new bottom intake openings? It appears they simply sit behind the opening and do not actually mount flush or sit against them in any way. Of course the hose is round whereas the spoiler openings are capsule shaped...makes for an odd match up. Can someone confirm? You can post photos here or email to my office please: [email protected] Thanks!!
  14. great thx. didn't know they carried them...
  15. Hi, I need 2 or 3 of the acorn (or dome nuts) as found on the thermostat housing. I believe they are also the same as on the fuel rails. If anyone would like to sell me some non-dented / marred ones, that would be great. Thx, John [email protected]
