i spent some time reading and have found most of people are happy with their G's reliability. however, i looked at a 2008 G with 31k miles. it had 2 egear failures and 3 CELs. The egear failures scares me as they are over $20k to replace the tranny. that seems less than reliable compare to a 360/430. so, that's were I am coming from.

Why don't you arrange a test drive at dealer? I am sure she will be equally impressed. I doubt you'll find someone wanting to help you impress your girl here.

I think high parts cost is designed to rip off those upsell repairs when people bring their cars into dealers. No one in their right mind would buy a 1500 floor mat that can be had custom made for $150-200.

I thought it was standard for 05 and up..... guess not!

Does the SL have the same front lift system standard? How about the SE model? Thanks
