  1. looking for a shop manual - paper or electronic-
  2. well i hope whoever is interested does some research to see what they paid.. i assume it was sealed bid so no one else wanted to pay more- asking prices are different but really 150k more than they paid is stupid - my first thought was 275 was too high considering it was sold as is with no records and unknown condition due to the seizure.
  3. so i guess now we wait to see who posts it for sale next month!
  4. Jon whats the color code on the viper? and as for the stable change- i wouldnt jump yet unless you have to have the P. it will depreciate a LOT and IMO better to keep what you have- its always nice to have a vertible in the stable- i have 4 of them.. actually my only coupe is the murcie. will the Demon be allowed on the track >? i know locally theyre saying even stock cars need a cage if they are faster than 10 secs now-- id skip on the demon and wait for the performante spyder and/or a significant price drop- -
  5. take out LOL.. thats if you can reach high enough to pass them the money.. ive never been brave enough to try it myself-- also too many curbs to make sure the nose misses it all.. good color choice - mines the same-- now i know what mine would look like with yellow calipers.. (black now) enjoy it-- im having a blast with mine
  6. voltage should definitely be 13+ volts when running-- mine will usually say 13.6 up to 14.. and 12.5 or so in the morning when cranking to start you can buy cheapo cigarette lighter test pieces for prob $15.. they will show charging if your not mechanically inclined-- but everyone should own a basic $5 to $10 VOM- volt ohm meter-- i even keep one in the kitchen drawer to test batteries in remotes before replacing- and check new ones prior to install- if you had that you could put the probes on the batt terminals and see voltage changes - also most battery shops will test your charging system for free -
  7. would be really interested to see if someone does one-- personally i drive my cars so i'd take a "converted" car anyday F430 or murcie etc to drive - i almost bought the parts to do my 430- (but its not having issues right now) but then bought the murcie that same week ..
  8. they are cheaper per shock from Glen.. @ AMH than bullstuff.. at least the reply i got from him today was over $25 a pair less
  9. wheres best place for struts -- my drivers door needs a slight push up to get moving so its on my winter upgrade list
  10. ugh no fun.. im quite interested to see what they find after its out-- got offered an 05 egear murcie yesterday for a decent price - almost too good to pass up so i may have to get it..
  11. i have a friend who builds GTRs and they easily get 1000 whp -- they blow up transmissions at that and need to be fully built to handle it
  12. i feel your pain-- i had a similar issue with my 430 and while its fixed now the stress of it acting up made me not drive it far from home even after it was fixed for fear it would leave me stranded. hence why i just got a manual murcie
  13. that may be the first upgrade after i go thru this car a bit-- did all fluids yesterday- need to get center caps on and then brakelight- thats it till end of summer then will look intosome upgrades.. radar- stereo and 2wd
  14. found hella part # but havent found local supplier yet 2 da 005 739 111
  15. is the murcie third brake light easily located or from another car? mines corroded on the pcb board and need to replace that with leds or the entire light assy-- where can i get one.. thanks
  16. well been looking for a bit and as weird as it happened -- i got 3 cars lined up to buy all on the same day-- the LP is /was my first choice but a late 03 fell into my lap 2 days ago that was 15 minutes from my house and priced so well i couldnt pass up on it and bought it yesterday. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nbjhmp346nczsgj/2...181025.jpg?dl=0 ive known about this car for 6+ mos and no one was able to locate the owner as his number changed. i had heard he wanted to sell it 2 years ago and i had given up trying to locate it - when the 06 roadster came up on ebay i was really ready to go to edmonton to buy it and hadnt been able to get the carfax and speak to the owner in person - then the LP came up and i decided thats the one i really want.. I was literally typing up the sales offer on the LP when i got a call from a friend who was sitting with a guy at lunch who said he has a murcie he "might" sell. He handed him his cell and i spoke to him- he came out to show me the car and i offered him what he wanted-- he still had to think about it he said - but yesterday he came to work and i now have a new addition to the family.. the wheels will have to eventually go but i have the originals that came with it as well . and a friend has its twin.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9nhbb656nc2lbpa/2...103636.jpg?dl=0 it sure gets attention 2 identical cars driving past people ! the prior owner painted the calipers black and thats the only difference.
  17. i called about the same car ? but the manual is a 03? not 06? if its that one i spoke to someone last week - seemed nice enough- cant remember the name i wrote it down- i believe had a english accent- he told me it needs 6k worth of work- not 20k front lift didnt work some other things i cant remember now- he did say they were so busy in service that it wouldnt get fixed prior to sale asking $142k- is there an 06 as well? seems reasonably price but the black one seems as though it may be a better buy at $152 half the mileage
  18. weird how the 03 shows up when i search murcielago but the 02 doesnt show up unless i search lamborghini.. very weird -- ebay wont allow me to sort by highest price right now either only by time or everything else i pick reverts back to "best match" the 02 looks very nice but 175k seems steep- there are still 2 other Pre LP cars that have been for sale for a long time silver at $144 and a black at $153 both coupes as well
  19. i like the titanium or darker silver - to me the bronze will date it and in a couple of years you will go "ugh" why did i pick bronze/gold. i just saw a gallardo last week at work and black car he put gold wheels on it-- everyone who saw it thought the same thing- the wheels suck.. as someone else said too 90's subaru
  20. yes there will be drag - how much im not sure- and 150 lbs overall in a car this heavy isnt that much- but there is some unsprung weight to save with the stubs . removing the shaft still makes it rwd only.. so it will drive totally different than if it was awd.. so for someone who wanted to try the rwd conversion its a "free" way to see if they like rwd only.. id be interested if someone has driven a car done both ways to see how much you can tell the front drags - as i would think the PS would mask that. the main benefit would be your not putting wear on the front shafts and diff .
  21. PM is working now-- i sent one-- on my fone this was really hard to see and i made some nice typos... much better on laptop.. anyway if anyone knows of a manual murcie pre Lp or LP let me know-- i know of 2 pre LP- silver at LamboPalmB and the black in sanfran.. i have no real preference between coupe or roadster - green is first color choice but i know thats very unlikely - as roys one at 380 isnt in my price range at this time
  22. why are there only 2 options? i know someone who did their 2wd conversion and they simply removed the inner shaft from the torque tube and reinstalled the tube-- there is no mount issue to deal with - other than the front shafts will always be freewheel turning is there any other downside?
  23. it won't allowe to do pm.. I'm same user ID on other forum
  24. i called lambo vancouver yesterday and was told the manual car isnt for sale its the owners car-- they have 08 egear and thats the only murcie thats there for sale im looking for a manual-- although at some point i may take an egear--
