  1. I met Tim previously and found him to be quite a pleasant guy. Nowhere near the douchebaggery most of these guys carry on with.
  2. Odds some big players have his name on a black list for all future events? One can only hope, that or Fortis' guys get to him first.
  3. Musk owes a shit pile of money backed by his TSLA stock and at some point GS will start a fire sale. He would be smart to sell well before then, but i'm not sure anyone is eager to buy without a steep discount. I sure wouldn't want to be on the longterm end of stock or car ownership.
  4. From the front seat of an H1A, on the lawn at pebble?
  5. It is. You'll definitely dig it.
  6. I'm so fcuking confused by you two! For the record I fully support an H1 alpha! Get it down to PPE and let them do a little work to the duramax and it won't be absolutely painful to drive.
  7. Biggest thing I've heard is mandatory the pilot has a minimum of 10k flight hours. I believe that was Chad's rule. If you find an Agusta with retractable gear, post pics!
  8. I think i'm most shocked that your wife would drive a minivan. That's pragmatism at the highest level. If you want something to cart the kids around and 'light' camping duty look at the diesel excursions. A little hard to find but fcuking bulletproof and look pretty sweet with a small lift on 35's. On the fcuking ridiculous side, 6 door diesel trucks are pretty awesome but impossible to park anywhere. Kids will love it though.
  9. Nope! Kills the flowing lines on the back of the car.
  10. Jonathan (Icon) does insane level work, but he'll have performante money in it when it's finished. The plus side is his builds are so well known the resale is actually quite good. Any of the above are likely to have a serious lead time and may not want to bother with a "simple" project. Somebody like SDHQ, Kibbie, or one of the well known buggy shops might be able to knock this out pretty easily. Motor from a wrecked GT500, 5.0 coyote, or 6.2 raptor motor would be awesome in that thing.
  11. Subscribed. And yeah, I sent Roman a message a while back and nary a response. Don't know what's up but I hope everything is ok in his world.
  12. This. Preferably grind it first then no need for the acid etch. Use 100% solids and apply in the proper thickness. That should be damn near indestructible. Like everything 90% of the job is in the prep.
  13. One thing on the roadster vs coupe, where do you live? That would play a huge part in this overall decision for me. If you're in a good climate it's easier to justify the headache of the roadster top. If it's an area where you'll only have the top off for maybe a couple months a year then keep the coupe. Personally I think murci for murci you'll regret selling this one.

    New toy

fcuk yeah! I want a GT3 in the worst way!
  15. We can help you fix that loud problem
  16. Yup, everything from the 560 on is a completely different motor. Different crank degree for uneven firing, direct injection, etc. The two sound unmistakably different.
  17. 5.0 cars sound MUCH better than the 5.2 if you can believe it, a lot changed beyond displacement and it really changed the sound.
