  1. Ferrari F12 tdf was "limited" at 799 pieces... 900 of this SVJ means more or less the same number, as it includes the "63" livery units ciao
  2. I'm fine, thanks. I'm becoming old and the working stress is killing me: sometimes I would like to retire and just doing the touristic guide in the Motor Valley here ciao
  3. last month (July) in Italy were delivered 47 Ferrari and 38 Lamborghini: I don't remember any month with the sale figures so close between Ferrari and Lamborghini. In July 2017 the sales figures were 42 Ferrari vs. just 12 Lamborghini! Of those 38 Lamborghini units sold last month, 27 were Urus and 11 the 2 doors (Huracan+Aventador). That means Urus last month was 71% of the Lamborghini sales on Italian market. Ciao
  4. Dry weight doesn't include battery and driver: other 100 kg, 220 Lbs ciao
  5. comparisons and weight/power ratio are done with the dry weights (That's a stupid way to do that, but Ferrari does it and so all the others follow...) ciao
  6. The V12 engine is built here in Italy, the V10 and V8 engines come from Germany (or Hungary, I don't remember, sorry) Yes there are many German parts too: maybe that's the reason why the cars' quality is not bad at all… ciao
  7. https://www.quattroruote.it/news/eventi/201...video_foto.html 4WD-4WS-Trofeo R Tyres. Driver: Marco Mapelli ciao
  8. here in Italy there are many LM002 on full restore and the demand is very high, with prices going up a lot ciao
  9. 9x220= 1980 per year. Not bad for a brand new plant: It will go up quickly, must reach at least 13-14 units a day. Maximum capacity is more or less 18-20 a day. Here deliveries have already started. ciao
  10. Italian Quattroruote magazine tested the Urus in June issue. 0-62 mph 3.15 s. 0-125 mph 12.0 s. Top speed:303 kmh (190 mph). 1/4 mile (400 m): 11.3 s. Brakes were rated as superlative. Track lap (Vairano): 1'16".33 ( better than Jaguar F-type 5.0 4WD SVR) Ferrari F430 did 1'17".37 Ciao
  11. No, the V12 cars are still all Italian made: body, chassis, engine, interiors, painting, luggage. It's all Italian like the Diablo was. Yes, it has Audi switches and small things, but it's a car designed, engineered and all produced and assembled here in Italy, exactly like the Diablo was. The Diablo shape was not what the Italians wanted to do: Chrysler forced the design of the rear, against Gandini ideas and imposed that ugly dasboard of the first model, done by Chrysler designer Bill Dayton. The V10 and V8 cars are much (and much) more Audi, of course, but the Factory is still here and Maurizio Reggiani, the R&D boss, is a 100% Italian man ciao
  12. Great pictures Emilio! Lamborghini OF COURSE didn't stop in 1972: I wrote that just to say that it was fake that Lamborghini stopped when Audi arrived. I wrote that just to say that many changes already happened. No, Lamborghini aren't always better than Ferrari, of course, but they are great cars that always are competitors for the top place in the supercar battle: each new Lamborghini and Ferrari model raises the bar and the winner is always uncertain. I'm a Ferrari owner now, but I have to say that Lamborghini, since 2011, have a much better design than Ferrari and Lamborghini still is my personal favourite brand. Who knows, maybe one day I will sell all those Ferrari wrecks and will buy a Lambo again ciao
  13. Congrats, what a beast! Ciao
  14. I'm just an enthusiast, so I'm not God nor anyone more than what I am so please take what I write just as an opinion of an Italian enthusiast that doesn't want to offend anyone's beloved car, but just wants to talk a bit with another enthusiast. This said, I never appreciated too much the Murcielago as it's just a Diablo upgrade and not a new car. The Pagani Zonda had to be the new Murcielago, but Audi choose to take an easier and less expensive way just doing a Diablo upgrade. That's the story and why I prefer much more the Aventador, a brand new car with a fantastic shape. Ciao
  15. I don't think they will do a car like the ThethetheFerrari & C: they will do others oneoff like the Centenario, but no more, in my opinion. But I cannot tell the future, I just know the past, that for many years was disapponting, as when they produced, in 1980-81, the Fiat 127 Rustica aside the Countach line or when in late 1988 they introduced a "new" carbed (!!) car, the 25th, an ultra obsolete car that even hadn't anymore the only good thing that Countach (a 1973 model...) still had at the time, that is the nice shape (ok, it still had the power, but no more). And the 25th even had comfort seats that the new owner (Chrysler...) wanted on the car, so you didn't even have anymore headroom... What a disaster of a car. Now we are in Lamborghini golden age again: it started in 2011 with the Aventador and it's still growing up. The only other golden age was in 1963-1972, and even not so good as the actual one, in my opinion ciao
  16. Ferruccio Lamborghini sold the factory in 1972: the "true" Lamborghini stopped there. Rossetti until 1981 bankrupcy. Then Mimram until 1987. Chrysler from 1987 to 1994. Then a singer and others from Indonesia until 1998, when the factory produced just 200 cars. Finally, in 1998, Audi arrived and saved the factory: thank you very much, Audi, as with you today Lamborghini sometimes are even better than Ferrari and hi tech. ciao
  17. Ok, everyone has his own taste: I wouldn't ever buy a Porsche Cayenne, nor for ten dollars, but it's the Porsche bestseller today, so my taste and the market taste are different. Talking of this brand new Lamborghini Urus, here you are my opinions (that are no more than personal opinions, of course): - Lamborghini Urus prototype came out more or less five years ago, and the production car is very close to the prototype, so I don't understand why anyone can now say "I'm disappointed": you should have been disappointed five years ago, why just now? -Lamborghin Urus looks (to my eyes) to be ten times better looking than the Porsche Cayenne, that is the market benchmark. -Lamborghini Urus has the highest top speed among the SUV -Lamborghini Urus will be (very likely) the world quickest SUV on an handling track -Lamborghini already did a SUV 30 years ago, and (just in my opinion) it looked even worse than an Humvee, that is not the best looking car in the world... So, what were you expecting from a five seater SUV? Did you think it would have been like an Huracan? I remember what Porsche enthusiast said when the Cayenne was introduced, 15 years ago, but then it happend what happened Resuming: In my opinion this Urus is the top pick among the Sport SUV today. I consider it much better, and much better looking, than X6M, GLE AMG, Range Rover (any), Cayenne Turbo S, Levante, Bentayga, F-Pace and so on. And it carries a famous Italian Sport car brand that was the first in the world to produce a Super SUV. This said, you can hate SUV, hate this car, don't like the shape, don't like the 650 Hp engine, don't like they did it, all you want, but it's a great and great looking raised sides supercar with four seats (or even five, if you want) ciao
  18. Ferrari will do a thing like the Urus as soon as it (the car) will be ready, means two or three years, no more. The FF/GTC was a flop, so they will do what people want when they look for a four or five seaters car: raised side 4x4 supercar like the Urus is Please note that I didn't write opinions, just facts: Ferrari is already at work... ciao
  19. Ferruccio started his activity as a tractor producer with Allied WWII military surplus engines, so it would be very proud of this king of Super Sport luxury SUV. Everyone has his own taste, of course, but this car is NOT something you can compare to anything on the market today. Ciao
  20. Yes, the dealership are small and rare, but I think this will be a problem easy to solve. Depreciation won't be worse than the Range Rover or the Cayenne or a Mercedes S63 AMG one. One year ago, the Bologna dealership already had 18 deposit down for an Urus. An Huracan is just a toy, this is a car: The customers are much more. I bet on a worldwide sale explosion: There is not a competitor, nothing compares to this car, so I think that manycustomres will spend 250 k for a loaded one, as there isn't anything better. Just my opinion, of course. Ciao
  21. Today there is no much market for a Sedan, while there is a big asking for the raised side cars: I think we won't ever see the Estoque. The day after, I like even more the Urus: a big hit, in my opinion. ciao
  22. Yes, but it's less poetic... Ciao
  23. The Huracan is the Lamborghini punt returner. The Aventador is the Lamborghini runningback. The Urus is the Lamborghini tight end, big, tall, quick: a superman that can do everything, even if is not the top in anything. We call them Decathlete. Ciao
