All Hermes stores have it in the room at the back. Its a marketing gimmick, like getting on the 'list' for a Ferrari. They only sell it to you if you've spent enough at the store. Slick marketing. You can make money off it since the retail is only 50-70% of the open market value. My sister has more than a dozen of them and they cost more than my lambos and Ferraris put together. Personally, I prefer the cars.

My egear was working perfectly the last time I drove it without any issues. It was actually just in to replace the battery (flat), and then they said the engine was making a strange noise when starting, so they investigated and wrote the above as 'must change'. Did you have to replace the actuator? Or they found out that it was just the fluid leaking prior to taking the engine out?

Anybody with a 640 with the same problem? I've got about 8000 miles on my '09 LP640, and during servicing I am told that the actuator is spoilt, its leaking oil, and affecting egear synchronization. I am told this is just wear and tear and happens commonly on LP640's and Aventadors, and that it will be approximately $25K USD to fix/replace, and is a must. Anybody can tell me with similar experience can tell me if this is about right? Just so I know I'm not getting ripped off. Unfortunately, the dealers aren't voluntarily requesting this garbage. They are getting G's shoved down their throats which simply aren't selling, so to avoid having 10 G's on the showroom floor, they now have 10 G's, and 8 'limited edition' G's. Lamborghini is turning into an embarassment. There are dozens of G's sitting on showroom floors all across China, unsold. The situation is no different to other parts of the world. Lambo is killing their brand and their prestige by being too desperate to move volume rather than retain exclusivity and a certain desirability. Whatever people may say about Ferrari they certainly have their marketing down pat, something Lambo would do well to take a leaf out on.

But the Bernese Mountain are ok in the heat though, he loves to go out for walks even when its hot. I think they acclimatize real quickly, and he's been in Singapore since he was 3 months old. Thx Soup, I've had the Pagani for 1yr+, great car to throw around the corners, but the gearbox is sloooow. Not as hot as some of the pics i've seen you post thats for sure Am in the LA / Vegas area at the moment if any of you peeps stay around here?

I stand corrected but pray tell me this: there are 5 standard editions sold, and 10 limited editions? so.... if you buy a 'limited' edition, its actually more common than the standard edition... lol sure looks like a marketing gimmick to me

I have the Logitech Driving Force™ GT wheel and a playseat, its cool and a real blast. i'm setting up a 2nd playseat next to the first; does anybody know of a better wheel than the logitech driving force wheel?
