  1. Also sorry to hear about your dad's health. You can sign up for a free web ex trial account, and have them join a webex session. All they have to do is a few small clicks to let you take control of the computer. From there setup the chrome remote desktop for future needs. With the webex if you want to ask someone on LP to help you with it, you can have the comfort of joining the meeting and watching from your house too.
  2. Every forum I look on it appears that Michelin Pilot Super Sport being nationally back ordered happens from time to time. I am looking for a MP Super Sport in 345/30/19 but want the latest manufacturing date since I am hoping they'll be on the car a while. Saw the tires originally at costco a month ago, and when I went to purchase they were off the website and out of stock. They said they called the Michelin Representative and he said they're nationally back-ordered. Tire Rack has them but I am not sure if they provide the manufacturing date before they send? Anyone know about this? Also like Costoco Warranties and install prices, and wondering if waiting will get me a set of tires with the latest manufacturing date. Then again, if I have to wait till September like the poster above mentioned I think I will order on Tire Rack today. Thoughts anyone?
  3. They're looking for the driver of the gt-r also. Can he be charged also?
  4. Force closing apps isn't an android vs iPhone thing. Thats not typical based on what I have come across. You might want to look at maybe things that are specific to your device. Maybe an auto update to the app went wrong? Even if you're going to with the iPhone on your next contract, it might make living with the phone you have more bearable till that time.
  5. To answer your question I think all phones benefit from a factory reset from time to time to get rid of a troublemaker app, regardless of OS or manufacturer. iOS to my knowledge only runs one app at a time (except for system apps) so that might mitigate a nagging app. I think all the processors on these phones, seem to get twice as fast as with each generation, so they all seem to not last that long. Tell me about it, I shared my thoughts in another thread about iphones vs android, and people took any statements against apple products as trolling and I was threatened to be banned. I decided we weren't as open minded as we claimed to be. Be careful what you say here. +1 So far this does sound like a trolling thread. It's no different than the hundreds already on the internet, with people picking a side and sharing their points. Some true, some half true, arguing it out. OP, if you want to get an iPhone its your money and $600 bucks is hardly the end of the world for most. Your'e not going to go wrong buying an iPhone over an Android. They're the top two phones out there, you won't know what you're missing (good or bad) till you try it. So go for it, you might like it.
  6. Just because we rushed to judgement doesn't mean we should repeat the same mistake by rushing back to accuracy. http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-r...-esque-atrocity

  9. Agreed. I didn't have an opportunity to read the entire thread over at MacRumors and skipped to the back and found 5 entries above the 1900 mark posted by another user corresponding to the GS3. I wasn't sure about the whole benchmarking strategy, what is weighed heavier, how points are aggregated, etc. I am very familiar with android benchmarks comparing other android phones, but know almost nothing about this benchmark across iOS and android. Was just sharing and no intention of harm or foul. I am still trying to understand it and appreciate the clarification.
  10. GS3 got 2399, Iphone5 got 1601 http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1039203
  11. Even high quality MP3's take up a lot of space, not to mention 1080p HD video just eats and eats up space. I see the value in having a device with the most storage possible, but its hard to justify when you know the extra storage costs dollars and they are charging hundreds as an upsell. I wouldnt say it's insignificant. The price of a 64 gb phone is the price of two 16gb iPhones (actually more by a buck).
  12. I was just going to post this, IMPRESSIVE! Stock price is up another $5-6 bucks.
  13. Having both of those devices I am curious about those results. The GS3 is about 25% faster than the Nexus 7. On this test, it shows the Nexus 7 doing better than the GS3? And it shows the Nexus 7 being just a few points shy of the iPhone.
  14. When the 4S launched there stock price was at ~$340 ish, year later with the 5 it was at around double. I have heard estimates that they could reach 1000-1500. I wonder if it really has that much room to grow.
