  1. We just finished up another great build on an Audi R8 V10!

    Our customer, Joe, picked up an R8 and was looking for COMPLETE transformation, inside and out.

    To bring out the performance potential in this beast we installed a Fabspeed R8 V10 Valvetronic Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System, ESS Supercharger, and KW Suspension

    After that, we wrapped in matte black and installed Brixton Forged wheels to give it an aggressive look that matched the new sound and performance.

    When everything was complete, we threw it on the Dyno to get the results and it ended up putting down over 200 more WHP than stock.

    Fabspeed’s premium stainless steel Valvetronic Supersport X-Pipe replaces the factory muffler and outlet pipes for an outstanding upgrade in sound, allowing for two distinct exhaust tones depending on the position; mild and wild.     The factory exhaust on the Lamborghini Huracan is a very heavy, very restrictive system.  The muffler is comprised of multiple chambers, filled with perforated tubing, wool packing, and a set of secondary catalytic converters.  The exhaust gas must force its way through all of this in order to exit the system, which robs the car of considerable power.

    Fabspeed's unique valve design provides two very distinct sound modes when using the factory steering wheel mounted mode selector. In Strada mode, the valves on the 70mm bypass pipes remain closed, channeling the exhaust gases through Fabspeed's signature 63.5mm quad-resonated x-pipe, producing a smooth and sophisticated exhaust note ideal for cruising around town and on long stretches of highway.

    Switch the car into Corsa mode, and prepare to have your world rocked.  In Corsa mode, the valves open up, allowing the exhaust gases to rocket straight out through the 70mm bypass pipes with a snarling aggressive scream.  The full fury of the Lamborghini V10 is unleashed, along with an intoxicating and menacing barrage of pops and crackles upon deceleration and downshifting.

  3. Good news! The Huracan ECU tune is now available in a hand held device! No more removing the ECU and mailing it to us. Power gains and removing check engine lights are now plug and play!

     

    Achieve maximum power gains (~22 whp & 21 ft-lbs) without sacrificing drivability or reliability. Maps are available for completely stock cars, or for cars equipped with our Supersport X-Pipe Valved Exhaust System. Increase the power and drivability by optimizing the ECU. We've had ample time with Huracans on our in-house Dynojet to unlock extra power on both stock vehicles and optimize performance with a Fabspeed exhaust. 

    Fabspeed Motorsport offers an alternative tuning method for vehicles equipped with ECU's that traditionally required bench flashing. No longer do you need to remove your ECU and mail it in for a tune. The Handheld device interfaces with the OBD-II port on your Porsche and your computer to complete the tuning process, which is as follows:

    1. Read stock data on vehicle via OBD-II port with Handheld
    2. Interface Handheld with software on your computer and send in data to Fabspeed Motorsport via email
    3. We use this data along with information you provide about your vehicle to write a tune for your specific setup and email back your custom tune in 1-2 business days
    4. Write the Fabspeed ECU Tune to your Handheld, then to the vehicle with the Handheld
    5. Enjoy your increased performance!

  5. Here is a quick video of a sport header build from beginning to end. There are some people out there that are unaware(or misinformed) about where our products are produced.

    Everything is fabricated right here on location in Fort Washington, Pa!

    All our metals are USA metals! (The valves we use are made by Helical Technology with is a UK company and the HJS cats come from Germany)

  8. This stunning, white Lamborghini Huracan came into our shop with a VF Supercharger and Vorsteiner Bodykit already installed and was looking for a custom exhaust to work with this build.

    We took the challenge head on and got to work designing a valved system, utilizing Helical Technology High Performance Valves, the best valves in the industry capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. 

    We installed the system and it fit perfectly. When this beauty roared to life for the first time, we couldn't wait to hear it at top speed. We wasted no time getting it on the Dyno and treating our ears while we ran some tests on the new system.

  9. Hi all,

     

    with our Performante exhaust suite being out now for about 3 months, and the reaction (orders) to it beyond what I ever expected, I wanted to put something together for anyone on the fence, as well as share additional information and some pictures/video.

     

    When our first HP arrived from a very good client in Boston, we got right to work scanning and designing what we thought would be the best options for the car, and a variety that would leave every owner with a box to check; from the guy who wants it "on" all the time, to the owners who like the versatility of a valve that they can manually operate, and change the tone from aggressive with no drone and a musical note ( :lol2: ), to flat out ear splitting, race car sounding, insanity.

     

    I was thinking that if we can get a couple orders locked in, I can do 15% and maybe free domestic shipping. I'm happy to listen to suggestions though if you all had any suggestions on what you wanted to see.

  10. Fresh off the truck from Boston... Our good friend Safi, owner of AVI Boston (check them out... they do INSANE car audio and performance installs: www.aviboston.com) was kind enough to ship us the car for R&D. We are finishing development and will have performance #'s, video, etc. shortly! The stock system weighs 44lb, so we will be saving owners quite a bit of weight, and are discussing a few different exhaust options.

     

    We also have a suite of forged carbon pieces I posted about in a different thread, and a harness bar on the way with sub mount for a 5 and 6 point harnesses; For now, a few pictures!

    The HP development is done :headbang: the R&D car is back to Safi/AVI Autosport in Boston, I LOVED the sound... but more importantly, HE loved the sound. After sending the videos to a couple Performante owners I've sold 3 systems, which is crazy considering it went live on our website 3 days ago :eusa_dance:. in Corsa it pops and burbles with that awesome runoff sound everyone loves, in Strada and Sport it's still noticeable louder than stock with no drone, but the burbling/runoff is significantly reduced to the point you can enjoy the stereo, make a phone call, leave the house early morning or come home late at night without driving your neighbors crazy.

     

    Below you'll find pictures, video, and other pertinent info, if you or a friend are interested in adding the system, I am doing an introductory pricing deal for lambo forum members!

    After we have the first designs finalized, we fabricate a few different prototypes to use for testing. We install and Dyno test each possible design option, making tweaks to each prototype and retesting until we get the exact product that we are looking for.

     

    By constantly dyno testing our products throughout the development process, we are able to confidently say we are providing the best possible exhaust options for each vehicle. We finished the process on the Performante with two amazing exhausts systems - one with valves and one without. I didn't expect the cars to pick up a ton of horsepower, as the stock system with valves open is about as unrestricted as you can get.. My hopes/goal was to improve and refine the sound rather than just have the car loud for the sake of being loud, and to drop a good chunk of weight. We achieved both goals with huge success. Below are the two system we ended up going with:
