  1. Hi James, We met at the Concorso in 2007, I owned your car before John. When I bought the car it already had adjustable coil overs in the rear so I bought a set of fronts from Chad to get that early low body look. I was not happy with the lack of travel and stiff ride. I have worked with Koni to make adjustable coil overs for the Countach. Fell free to call or email me. Tony Ierardi Gulf Coast Motorworks
  2. Hi guys, I'm sure there are a number of guys named Tony in Florida who like or may own a Countach. To be clear, I have never sold a bad Countach to anyone. I am the restorer of record of the Cannonball Countach as well as currently restoring Brian's LP400S2. I am the person who started the DeLorean Motor Company Franchises in 2004 and still own the southeast territory. I am also the Shelby and Superformance dealer for Florida as well as a full service Dyno & speed shop. My Auto Itala division services and restores vintage, classic & modern Italian cars. I work and have a good relationship with a number of dealers and vendors across the country. I changed my username a while ago to be my actual name so people would not confuse me with others. I wish Tony Rienzi the best of luck with his business. Tony Ierardi Gulf Coast Motorworks
  3. Guys, I'm running out the door. I will pick this up later but the BIG WING with risers (the original aluminum wing) weighs 22 lbs. I weighed the last one we had off a car. The Moody wing reference does not refer to a type of wing... I will have to explain later... Tony
  4. John Nichols and I measured every difference with tape measure and photographed it all in 2007. The cars measured were my 79' S1 and his 86' DD. I forget which Lambo forum we posted it on but after it crashed or was hacked all the files were lost. There is no doubt of the difference, the LP400 body shell was changed in late 81' with the first S3 / 5000 body shell. This is old news, but never gets old to see Tony
  5. Hi Allan, The Carbed QV we tested had no cats. We also did a 400S2 with 45DCOE also no cats. The rest of the numbers were plugged in based on percentages. As we Dyno different Countach over the years the numbers will become more accurate. Hope that explains it. Tony
  6. I just read this whole thread and my head huts... This quote did make it worth wile though: Although when I first read it, I wondered why you would charge her to do that And just for the record, Brain Pettey is the last person to knowingly misrepresent a car. Tony Ierardi
  7. You have the spelling correct, although I'm not sure about the "es" after, LOL Thanks for the compliments, we are doing a full restoration on the ex pawn shop car for NSXER aka Brian The cost vary depending on the condition of the car and how far we need to tear down. I have been crazy lately will all of this: www.gulfcoastmotorworks.com The web site is not complete but you get the idea. Tony
  8. For sure an S3 by VIN. No question... My first Countach was 1121328 it was a S3.
  9. Look at the chassis number 1121368 It is a late 81 or early 82 LP400 S3 It is not a 1980 S2 The car is worth $25K
  10. The self named Countach "SV" is a custom love it or hate it car. Changed 5000S style dash and door panels, Missing engine cover, engine swap and taking the sand cast markings out of the Bravo wheels, This car has lost all of its history and lineage. This car should never be looked at as a basis for values.
  11. I'm not going to get too far into it but I have seen it before shortly after new painting. The wing was not prepped right. It is on the painter to correct. Took us 3 times to get it right on the cannonball car. It can be done, don't give up on the original wing.
  12. Well then they should buy them all up if they can get $168K. I guess all the owners and dealers of the other low mile Anniversary cars must not know what they have There are two (2) 4,000 mile cars that look just as nice as the one discussed here and they are both ASKING $109K with no takers...
  13. Funny that this has come up, today the owner of Naples Motorsports emailed me about a 1 owner Pearl White with Red Anniversary car with 10,000 klm. I told him they have been in the $90 - $110K range for as long as I can remember. They have it priced at $109,995 now that's a dealer asking the right price. http://clients.automanager.com/012359/VD.h...e88a636d71646ef
  14. WOW! THAT IS SCARY! Strapped to another car and needless to say not a accurate Dyno.
