  1. People who know say that it will shock a diablo so I guess it runs okay!!
  2. For all the people putting sh*t on David I think they have missed some very important points! He is clearly a student of history and is replicating the debut of the 350GTV which, if you recall, Ferrucio had pushed out to the waiting crowd of journalists with a pallet of tiles in the engine bay! I am assuming that David hopes for his company to follow the same meteoric rise as Lambo!! I say good luck to him if he can make it happen.. John
  3. Ask over on VLG - one of the San Diego guys will likely know the car.
  4. Very ambitious considering a couple of months ago it could be had for less than $150k Aust ($135k USD)!! I don't think the market has gone up that much..
  5. I'm hoping the hole was to make room for those webers on that down draft motor he was going to put in but I don' think so..
  6. Ralf Lou Herrin's reply on VLG: 'Yes, a previous owner reported the engine and drive train were rebuilt in England. The car appears to have potential, and appears to be reasonably complete. I have known the present owner for about 10 years and believe him to be an honest enthusiast. If you want a good project or a presentable driver, this might be a good one. The price seems way low....' John
  7. Roger You and Mel Nichols have a lot to answer for!! The Lambos across Europe article and others like it started the dreams of young men like me to own one of these.. I look forward to the book.. Thanks John
  8. John, in the CT techinical forum you are one of the few documenting the tearing down and rebuilding of this car. Brilliant job and encouragement for the faint hearted.. Keep going with the LM - would love to see one of them come to peices!! I think we all carry a secret lust for one.. As for painting a narrow body green No 1 was originally red and spectactular in that colour.. John
  9. Recent weeks has killed me but if they get back to 50k then I'm in..
  10. John, we need photos of this naked lady..
  11. Ralph, You need to post more. I know it is a slow process but I am sure that there are many out here who want to follow the process - however slow..
  12. I actually think it looks pretty good - not bravo special but it is keeping it in the family as a viable option for driving now tyres are scarce.. Mind you I think it is the awesome silver paint that makes it work..
  13. Late Series 2 Espadas got some of the S3 changes including the wheels.
  14. Time and place.. Speed in itself doesn't kill as I am sure that most of us know.. What kills is doing it in the wrong places at the wrong time or not having the skill to get out of it when it all goes wrong and by that I mean mechanical failure of other circumstance - most of the deaths you see on the road involving speed are just sheer stupidity, including this one.. I lived in a state with no speed limits and the only people getting killed were speeding in stupid places.. This guy deserves all he gets - bubba will be waiting..
  15. 175 feet of skid marks after the impact?? Crash analysis will put these guys at BIG numbers!! Science, together with witnesses, wether professional or ameteur, will kill these guys..
