  1. 2007 ROSSO LETO LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO SPYDER
  2. it needs nothing. with an msrp higher than the aventador, there's reason why.
  3. a ghost with low miles for $200k is a GREAT DEAL esp if its cpo elligible for extended warranty...could get a great luxury car thats basically brand new with no worries for 30% off original msrp....now thats the way to purchase an exotic for sure!! thats how i bought my lambo; no regrets.
  4. i liked the IDEA of the 458 spider. then when i saw it withthe top down I wasn't so sure. I like how my G spyder looks great top up or down, love that the rear window is GLASS. (used to ahte how the 360 and 430 F cars had plastic; thought it looked cheesy & cheap) and now that I'm reading of some G coupes having thier rear bonnett shatter from heat, I'm not so disappointed the G spyder doesnt have the glass bonnett as a option. I do think it would be cool to see a hardtop convertible in the G successor & i'm also anxious to see how lambo is going to handle the roadster top in the aventador roadster to come.
  5. its usually a ten year cycle historically; i am personally looking forward to the successor andthink it will be even bigger than the lp700; my guess and hope were MY 2013. I asked valentino balboni & his lips are sealed. guess we have to wait. also, who knows if it will actually be called "cabrera." remember up until one week before release, everyone thought that the aventador was going to be called"jota." the factory has a funny way of keeping certain things hush hush.
  6. i had a 1-5 CEL in my 07 spyder once. It was condensation that had collected in the engine misfire tubes. Had the tubes replaced & new clamps installed also exhaust sensor threw it I believe. Was covered under extended warranty...after a song and a dance. Supposedly a common problem with gallardo btw.
  7. is this a one owner car? where are you located?
  8. i appreciate the replies. I felt very comfortable in a balloon white roadster I checked out. I beliueve the driver's seat is even positioned a bit differently than my car. I found it big but comfortable. I'd probably use it once per week like my current car, so this might work. i just dont want to drop 1/4 mill on a car that wont start or run with constant cel lights is all. double the annual maintenance cost is no biggie. my gallardo costs me a grand a year more or less, what's 2 g's a year? not a bid sacrifice. i'll continue to hunt for the one that is the right fit and to pick the brain of the guys who made the upgrade. I think the gallardo was a great entry level exotic and i'm glad I chose it over the f430 spider i shopped it against. i believe the murc is 10 inches longer and 6 inches wider than my car and i need to remember to measure vertically in my garage for obvious reasons but i doubt space will be an issue. i do appreciate the comments.
  9. I have a Rosso Leto Spyder. I love the car and the exclusivity of the color. Ver rare find, esp in a drop top.
  10. I'd like to hear preferably from owners who have made this move. What difference was there in service, maintenance, storeage, driving, comfort. to be more specific, i'd be coming from an 07 Gallardo Spyder & moving into am lp640 Roadster. Is it worth it? Any regrets? I dont track my cars. I would be doing the same i do in my current car which is 2-3k per year on the motor. Sunday driver, taken on monthly exotic rallies & thats about it. I'm also hooked on e-gear so I'm wondering if the clutch in the 640 is the same or different in terms of wear and performance than my current car. ecu's the same? in my current car I dont even own a battery tender and she fires right up after sitting for an entire week. same deal with the murc? any input is appreciated.
