  1. Rimadyl is a wonder drug for dogs. Our Beagle had some serious pain and the Vet said the same thing, Rimadyl for the rest of his life, not in large doses and eventually scaled it back to as needed, but it was a night and day difference. Glad to hear things are looking up RD, hope things keep going in the right direction!
  2. EXACTLY!! $6,000 is about right for a patent, but expect a couple thousand more depending on other items that are similar and having to revise your application. If you're looking at international markets also, you need to take that into account as well. Having the lawyer upfront is very very helpful and is easily worth the money. Are you looking to patent and then sell the rights to the item, or are you looking to retain rights and license it out? That is a driving question on how far into the patent process you need to go. If you intend to sell the rights and the patent to said company, then you need only get the patent pending process started, and then let the company take it the rest of the way if they end up buying. If you intend on keeping the rights and licensing then you will need to follow the patent all the way through to closure. These two scenarios could change the cost also.

So a $5500 blower, a body kit, wheels, UGLY paint, and they are adding nearly $30k to the price? And then another $30k for $3500 brakes??!! Thats fcuking stupid. I'll take a standard Shelby for $60k and it will be nearly as fast. I said to my wife when we bought our 2003 Cobra for $30k that I would never pay more than that for mustang, It just isn't justifiable. I have always liked mustangs and they will always hold a place with me, but at the end of the day it is still just a mustang. Unless Ford does something dramatic and makes it a serious power house and performer the cost isn't justifiable IMO. But they still sell like hot cakes with Ford so some people can justify it.
  4. The Jag reminds me of the new Ford GT
  5. Got my Wife the FitBit Charge for christmas. She loves it, but if it were for me, I'd prefer something like the TomTom that has more accurate tracking methods. I think the Charge HR may be better because it has the built in Heart Rate monitor.
  6. Look out Grizz, Tom is stalking this thread, he may be trying to find new ideas for a MySpace come back.
  7. That's awful news! I have a bottle of Chimay in the Fridge. I will make sure to take it out in his memory.
  8. Realistically for $900-$1000, if it is anything even remotely close to what they claim, it is worth it. A power wheels runs anywhere from $150 - $500 and most of them are crap. I'd love to see one in person.
  9. Just Joined @RyanB Also followed RD so I don't get banned!
  10. Confined to a wheel chair is less than she deserved. I'd have been put aware for life for the types of torture I would have inflicted on that piece of shit if that had been my daughter. Death would have been a welcome end for her.
  11. I'm not a Dr but an aneurysm is a condition more than a "Disease". It's a when an artery in the brain bulges, creating pressure on a part of the brain. Like a brain tumor it can cause the symptoms you stated depending on the location in the brain. Generally the greater concern is of the aneurysm bursting.
  12. and he is still currently living fine. Making nearly $100k a year, and saving half of that. That doesn't include his rental income. He has no personal mortgage because he lives in the duplex that pays for itself with the other renter. He's doing well and good for him.
