  1. LOVE the car. It is like a go-kart. My usual rides are a panamera, escalade ESV, or GTR with a wide body kit so it is tiny compared to what I am used to now. If selling my GTR wouldn't be such a pain I could see me getting a new 718 until next gen GT3 comes out. I need to hurry up and get the break in done so I can go above 4K rpm.
  2. No GT4 but my wife's GTS is finally in.
  3. Ordered my wifes Cayman GTS in start of Dec last year and still waiting for it. Delivery date is Beg of July. Pretty long IMO for a non-special edition car.
  4. It is... Why I put myself on dealers list for next gen GT3 without even knowing what it will ultimately be. If there is any chance I might actually want it I need to be on now.
  5. Did you end up paying over or under the original MSRP on the car? I was looking to get my wife one as her track car at the end of last year and just couldn't stomach paying over MSRP on a used car that I wanted to track. Ended up getting allocation for one of the last Cayman GTS's with F6 engine for her instead. On my dealers list for next gen GT3 to replace my GTR for track car. I loved the GT3 when we did all the cars at exotics racing last year.
  6. Wow, just the thoughts of an open track night at Yas Marina....
  7. Yes, so wishing clubsport package was available in the U.S. it would have been a done deal (at least I added fire extinguisher as an option on my build). I want to run harness in it for the track but I don't want to put aftermarket seats in it. I worry about airbag sensors not going off on the street if something happens as the car will be 80% street. I have that issue in my GTR right now. Maybe someday I will find a pair of OEM LWBs to put in it then I can proceed with harness bar and what not, but I think that might be a dream. We did the carmine red and black wheels. Just about all the options including PCCBs, I will change rotors to iron on day one but I wanted the factory 6 piston rotors up front. Didn't want to go aftermarket cause it is my wifes car, trying to stay as OEM as I can on this one (cause my GTR is about as far away from OEM as you can get...).
  8. Waiting for my wife's (track car) 16 GTS to be built, supposedly I got one of the last allocations for the 16 GTS.
  9. Nice. Love caymans, we just put in a order for a Cayman GTS for my wife's track car. Going to steal it a decent amount myself. We wanted PDK so GT4 was not an option. Carmine Red with black wheels, all the options (even PCCBs, wanted the 6 piston calipers will change rotors and pads right away though). We have a May delivery. Best of luck with it.
  10. Toyo R888's come close to size you are looking for, the rears are 30 instead of 35. I am switching to them from Mich PSS for my track days next season. I think you are in AZ so you should be able to use them on street without too much worry about rain or cold. https://www.toyotires.com/tire/pattern/prox...mpetition-tires
  11. Got back last night. Some amazing cars there for sure. The 2 Ford GTs were amazing. Me and my wife had a great time at exotics racing also. Here is my car in HKS booth.
  12. They posted the pics. Anyone see's it and an overweight early 30's white guy with it that is me.... Stop by to say hi.
  13. Even with my car in the show I ended up taking a second job at the shop that built my car similar to you...
  14. Best of luck if you guys are still trying to get it done. Must be redbull and no sleep time. I stopped tracking my GTR like 2 months ago because I didn't want to crash and have a time crunch before it going to SEMA, I don't handle that stuff well.
  15. Thanks. I would post pics but HKS is trying to keep it on the DL until they release it.
