  1. Well said and I feel like your analysis is spot on.
  2. Lizard green GT3RS (would have loved a GT2RS, but those are going for over $100K over MSRP...crazy numbers!). This one is from a 'flipper," used model, 17 miles on odometer. I guess I have a thing for green
  3. Thank you Luxeous and Destructo for your insightful comments. Hubby will most likely keep his Superleggera and if I take this allocation, then I will sell my Aventador Roadster. So, starting with 2 and ending with 2. As far as allocation, you are absolutely correct, Lamborghini.com does not have configurator up for roadster, so dealer wants a code based on coupe and will transfer it to roadster (place holder, I believe). I went with a roadster because with the top on, I really feel like I have no visability and that is un-nerving when I drive, so I knew the coupe was a no start for me. Dealer is guessing fall/early winter of 2019 delivery. And I am having these doubts about getting the car now because I know myself; I always get the 'wants' for the latest and greatest model.
  4. Honestly, I wish we could all just get along. I have made some great friends on these boards, gained a lot of useful knowledge, and gotten good advice when I had an issue with my cars. I thank you guys for that...seriously, take a deep breath, put your egos aside and have fun. Obviously we are all successful in our own right or we wouldn't be throwing big money after grossly depreciating, non-necessary goods. Anyway, I need your collective advice. Got the call for the config. code to give my dealer to lock in my allocation for the SVJ roadster 2 days ago. After agonizing about the color and driving my good friend Rob nuts picking his brain, finally settled on Arancio Atlas. Really wanted green again, but after the last 2 lambos being Verde Ithaca, thought I needed to change the color and I want to stay with a skittles color. Anyway, now I am having second thoughts about if I really want to dump another $670K in a car that, to the casual observer, looks just like my current car, but in a different color and with a wing??? Or do I wait and go for the successor to the Aventador? Never flipped a car, but as someone who is seriously considering paying $45K over MSRP for a special Porsche (someone is flipping, 17 miles on the odometer), would I be stupid to go ahead with the order, see the car, see the demand and possibly flip it, if I don't love it? Anyone done that on a newly ordered lower allocation Lambo (ie, SV) and actually not lost money? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Going to Vegas, I believe
  5. Its currently at Lamborghini Paramus. Never considered asking the dealer, "hey, any dead bodies in the car?" Will have to remember that question next time
  6. A lot of deposits will be refunded if it doesn't go limited numbers. My dealer says limited number
  7. To those that say 1000 SVJ's WORLDWIDE is not exclusive enough...get a life! Maybe 500 will make their way to the US market. I can pretty much guarantee that I will have the only one in the entire state of Utah. Thats exclusive enough for me. Ferrari V12's? LMAO...the 'Superfast' is ugly as F@@k.
  8. Holy shit, this happened to me! Scared the hell out of me. I was doing a canyon run, ran into a very sharp hairpin turn. Car was practically stopped, traffic in front of me and behind me, on a very steep slope and the damn car just stalled then went into limp mode. After a brief moment of sheer panic, i turned car off/on and it seemed to be alright. This explains why it happened.

  10. Thank you! I had forgotten that leaked pic from dash.
  11. My order sheet from May states "Aventador SV-J" Hope that the final name is SV-J and not SJ
  12. After wrestling with the Murciealago roadster top, the Aventador is a walk in the park! On another note, excited to see the leaks about the 'Ring time coming in faster than the GT2RS and worried because someone here said it might be called Aventador SJ rather than SVJ; I would luke to see it called the SVJ personally.
  13. Awful. Terrible. Tasteless. Tacky. But hey, its their car to do what they want with.
  14. Congrats on the Performante...I guess black and blue are out as possible colors for the SVJ
  15. My dealer confirmed that the coupe will be in Monterey
  16. EyeDoc here: no you cannot change eye dominance. Eye exercises do not change dominance.
  17. Spy shots with the Squadra Corsa driver Englehart shows Pirelli P Zero Torfeo R tires . I predict the SVJ will beat the Performante time...even if Englehart or whomever is driving needs to go on an extreme diet and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it shows up the Porsche times too! https://www.autoevolution.com/news/2019-lam...age-125148.html

  19. On the fence as to put a deposit on a SVJR or not. Not sure how I feel about the composite stuff and my guess is it will feature the composite CF inside and out. I personally prefer the standard CF weave over the composite stuff. My dealer is telling me coupes end ofvthis year and roadster mid year next year. Is that what others are hearing as well?
  20. I drove one with the carbon bucket seats...side bolsters come high and the seat is very narrow (i felt like I needed to go on a major diet or get major lipo to fit comfortably), but nonetheless would still order the bucket seats. Every ounce of that car is a track monster, so why not stay true to its DNA? I would also order center lock wheels.
  21. Congrats Fortis! Loved reading your review.
