can a private shop work on the mclarens? I heard they don't have the proper tools to work on them, and McLaren wants it that way.... so all any work goes to the dealerships .... true.. false?

Not sure if this is true.... but someone said you have to bring the car to the dealer for any repair and service? that private shops don't have the tools to even do an oil change? Is this true? If so I see that a big negative...

I have been thinking of buying a McLaren... either a 12c or the newer model 570s... anyone here driven both or owns both? that can tell me any pro's and con's of each? I don't track my cars.. so its just pleasure drives.. and of course wanting it to look bad ass... lol I guess either should only be bought if it has a warranty.. and are private shops working on these yet or just stealerships?

thanks guys, I will also look into the tile floors that look like hardwood, but I would think for the tile thickness, mud etc... it will be higher then a 3/4" hardwood floor... I want all the floors no matter what materials to be flush with each other.. trying to avoid saddles...etc

I am getting ready to decide on hardwood flooring for a new house, Might have some dogs in the house, so my thoughts are which hardwood flooring is more durable, the prefinished type or the hardwood that gets stained and cleared on the job site? Which would hold better with dogs nails...? the hardwood I am considering is white oak... not sure on the prefinished yet..many choices... but I know I want the floors to be dark stain...
