I like the M600 alot. Seing it on films, and reading about it, makes it a more appealing choice than the 430 and MP4-12C. Would gladly have one in baby blue

Chrysler trans and US ugly-bumpers? Nobody should even care! Last time I saw a original front SS bumper for sale, it was around $4K. Same for the rear, and a trans that kills the engine makes no sence when other cars in better shape is not much more expencive.

Looked over a S1 Espada yesterday, and found this little knob in the door sill. It has written A and C on each side of a small notch in it. Anyone know what it is?

Info on what mods you have done to the suspension would be greatly appreciated, as yours (and the pearl white car in another tread) is some of the later cars that has the best stance in a side shot!! Looking great. I myself got a stainless Quicksilver set with my car, but if I sell it, I too will take up on Emilios offer to get him to make a deal on a Ansa muffler.

1: No info on Lambo buying it back. They only collaborated to a point on the work started by a outside source. 2: Yes, it appears the complete system is out there. A big pluss if that could follow the car at a sale so for the future it COULD be turned back to original. If there was a posibility to do so, I am quite sure if the car was taken back to original, with the original parts, it would sell faster, and at a better price. The grey stands out from "all" the red, white and black cars. 3: Would need to be a buyer that this rear modifications suits, but still, and afterthought that is not original. Exterior color is EXELLENT, but I myself is not to sure about the interior. Would need to see it in person. But considdering the period of the car, it's colorcombo was probably BAD ASS when new!! 4: Grey market. Not a european "problem", but since it appears that many grey market cars have modifications done to them to make them legal on the road, it is as I see it not a plus that the originality have been tampered with. At the time, all tricks in the book was allowed to get them on the market as that was the only way to obtain these machines, but in retrospect, the real collectors out there that I know of only wants as close to perfection/original as it can be done in the upper price market. As you say in the second nr 1.

There is no denying it was a US-importer project, possibly made by the assistance of Lambo-engineers to work out the problems they could not solve them selves. Does that make it a milestone car? And as such, the hole family Countach's is a milestonecar, but to put it above that........? A milestone car in the Countach family tree exept the the prototypes would be cars like the Wolf'cars and its likes done in full at the factory. As for myself: i have had ONE major interests in my imersive carinterest since I bought my first carmag with a Countach on the cover in 1983, and that is THE Countach. I have read all the books that has been possible to get hold of on the mark, read all roadtests, im on the board of the Norwegian Lamborghini-club, I have made a register of ALL Lamborghinis past and present in this country and looked most of them over, I have followed as far as one can all sales of cars for the last 6-7 years, e-mailed sellers all over for years, watched all the resaults from auctions, and all other things Countach there is, and tries to keep me updaten by having contact with enthusiasts from all over europe and may in the states off the forums, and I have spent the last 3 years vacuming the market in search of the right car at the right price for me when I bought mine some months ago. I am confident that when I have a meaning on this subject (Countach), I have slightly over average knowledge, and when I am not totally certain, I ask before I conclude. I expect others to do the same, and not trying to be a champion all on their own. This is a complex market..... I think a forum like this is a good plase to ask, and give feedback, buth good and less good to people that need/seek information, and when one brings up a subject, one should be aware that the responses might suit ones needs, and maybe one should conform to the responds... As before noted here, pricing a car like you have done, might produce some waves and writing on the sensational chasing Internet, but that some sites take up on the add does not makes it a truth. There have been stupid kits priced as a Veyron written about by ignorant writers as if it was the ultimate, and so, the next day nobody cares. You came to this forum, asked for inputs, and when they pop up, you ignore them. That my friend is close to being ignorant....
