  1. In the meantime, here is two better photos of the car from a meeting 4-5 years ago.
  2. I was reading: ...exact SAME car......
  3. Not same car. Us car has white seats and US side markers. Norwegian car came from Germany.
  4. I have seen a purple Murcie, and its color is a bit duller thab the one on the Diablo roadster in this link: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/object?finnkode=32221541 Photos here is not good, but it is in reality a brilliant paint that really pops in the sun! Very dark, and very nice! Not sure it is the one you look for, but i can try to call him and ask for the name..
  5. On the subject of the exhaust shield on my car. It is made to the car in the later time! When I removed it, I found two holes in the body where I guess there have been one of those rear bumpers that looks like a the one below. Holes in the same places this one is fastened. Panel made to cover them Fcuk, now I need to have some alu welded.. Would anyway have the holes for the US markers welded, so that doesn't do much after all...
  6. Countach is THE Lamborghini, so it is good to see the gaining interest on the forum again!
  7. Hard to belive, but this is what people actually buy them for http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290676605907?_tr...9#ht_870wt_1185
  8. In total, a good season:)
  9. He is good at putting cars out for sale at high prices. The sold Countach was bought in NY in november for about $79K and one week later offered for $185K.....
  10. Miura engine block and trans housing is a one piece casting. Not so on any other Lambo.
  11. http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...mp;#entry933319 See post #7.....
  12. Well, some nights out are more expencive than others, but this one must be on the top:) Congrats on a superb car!
  13. That was ment to Peter K's post above. I do belive it is 1121042 as you said. Skirts, wheels and colorcombo and wing looks right.
  14. This is a totally different car. This one is in Norway.
  15. I doubt it, but I mailed the owner anyway..
  16. Looks like the right car. Bravo wheels, and it did have the spoiler too.
  17. Just got my car home a few weeks ago, and after paying the tax on that one, I doubt I would be able to raise some more funds for cars before my wife would have performed some sort of violence on me...
  18. This car originally was red with a maroon interior (what the shop owner says after taking it apart and looking for traces) but was red with a light tan interior when it came here. Here is a pic after the rear flares was removed. You can just see that there have been the ugly Koenig-style flares/skirts.
  19. Don't know the VIN, since I did'nt get to that side of the car. Just e-mailed the owner to ask for info for the registery I work on on Norwegian owned cars. BUT what might be the strangest thing is that this car is located only 11 miles (18km) away from me! Dropped of at this small shop 5 years ago, and only worked on for two. Shop wants it removed yesterday..
  20. Picking up rumours, and hints around, the P.I. in me set out today on a treasure hunt. I stoke gold! Gold from 1979! In the back of a bodyshop, untouched for the last 3 years, this car that was rebuilt with the Koenig (testarossa like) side stakes at one time was sitting under parts and dust.. The owner brought it here from Switzerland 5-6 years ago, started the rescue that to now have involved taking of the fiberglass parts that was fastened through the aluminium with self tapping screws, and had parts of the frame smashed due to a drive axle had snapped and rotated around in a ugly way. Work up to this point have been done right, but owner havent showed any further interest in the last 3 years, so there it sits:( Owner is loaded, so money is no object, and it seems like he has enough to do with his racing Ferrari's.
  21. I was thinking the same, but then, why has a Swiss LP400 them, and my Swiss LP400S not? Why, oh why don't Lambo have their archives more? Ok I know they was lost in a fire, but much would have been easier if they existed.
  22. Here is a German LP5000S without the extra, and a Swiss LP400 with them...?!?
