  1. The registery states 50 S1, 105 S2 and 82 S3, but not how many in the different years (official numbers). It is split over a 5 year span (1978-82). I belive to remember that in 1980 only 21 cars were built... Low production since the factory was closed down. If Tom Robins "factoids" are correct, it was built 10 cars in 1978, and the last 40 S1 in 79 and january of 1980. The S3 seems to have come into production in late 1981 and ended in may 1982 when the first LP500S was on the production line. BUT, I have a magazine that is from 1982 where the reporter says that he thinks it is strange that Lamborghini still offers the 4 liter version after the new bigger engine is in production. Might be that they still offered it as long as they had the old engines/blocks in stock?
  2. Anyone have the numbers available for the production numbers on all the LP400S's for every year, from S1 to the last S3?
  3. Mine is a LP400S3, and as you can see in the photo on top, mine does not have them..
  4. 1121448. Got it from Chad. Short clip here of it: Don't mind all the crap around the car. I'm renovating some of the house, and there is things all over the place..
  5. Allso, I don't have the extra red reflector/light UNDER the other red rear light. Anyone knows about this?
  6. I have a question about the exhaust shield on my Countach. It does'nt look like the one on most other cars, reaching lower than on other cars. My car appear to originally have been Swiss delivered, and maybe they have more stringent requirements to shield the hot exhaust than in other markets? My car is a 1982, if that is of any importance. AND does anyone know of other possible differences on the car in other markets (exept the US-bumpers/injections)?
  7. Short story on the freight/cost: Chad lives in a bit of a rural area. Extra for pickup there with a flatbed $150. Freight out to the harbour (2-3 hour drive?) and packing in a countainer and paperwork + insurance on the car for the trip: $2425. Port fee and paperwork in Norway: $900. This might differ to other contries, but the freight is only marginally different to other european countries. For this car I used Schumacher, and they have been easy to deal with, but if you are to send your car from the eastcoast (LA), I recomend california Shipping there, run by a Swedish guy, Thomas, the balled guy from Boyd's shop in American Roadster. They was so easy and fast to deal with, and they have specialised on hobby-cars. So, not any pain at all. Just a long wait... They do this kind of work every day, and take care off all the paperwork (since the US custom is strict), so there will not be sent no car out of the US if not all is in order.
  8. Have new sidemarkers and new tail lenses laying ready:) But will need to wait for the possible respray.
  9. Had it in a container. It's the car Chad started restoring. Actually, it looks better in yellow than what I expected, but still, I think I will have it back in the original white later.
  10. Today, after a loooooong wait, including US customs using two weeks over planned time to release the papers, and a strike in Antwerpen, further delaying, I finally got to collect the car today. Of course, at a price like I payed, some things will need work, but in general it was a bit better than I expected. Feels good now
  11. If I was to go for a stock car, 993 Turbo, but since I have a bit of a good eye to unoriginal Porsche's, I guess i would go the RW-route. Or dp935....
  12. A link to a download E03 would still be much appreciated:)
  13. We are already planning on a big rig to get some cars down next year. A 350, a Miura and some CT's for sure.
  14. I think at least two will go from Norway. As for myself, I have vacation later in the summer, and don't think I will be able to do this, and instead, I plan to have my car ready for next years 50'th anniversary. But i think this will be a good one I absolutely would attend if I could.
  15. Probably same guy. Sold another Jarama recently. Your Jarama that is at Chad now (or at least recently)? Saw a black one in the background on some of the photos he sent to me of my car when it was still at his place.
  16. I think a bid around $35-40K can secure someone a 1971 Jarama.... Needs a rebuild of the brake booster, and carb overhaul. Parts for them follow the car. I have a phone number if anyone is interested. Car in Ohio.
  17. I know him quite well, so I know there is a reason that he has all these cars. He is a good businessman, and if someone was to make a offer, it can't be to far off. He generally knows what he wants:( I was considdering what Peter K said. Just get it, leave it and look at it as an artpiece. Would need to refinance the house to get the car and the engine, and I doubt the missus would like that idea..
  18. Not the car Chad restores. That is an SV. I tried to help him and found a engine, but not a original SV (rebuilt to SV spec) engine, but the SV-owner wants nothing but a SV engine. So, as of now, I know of a good engine/trans, and I know of this car, located in Sweden.. Myself, I don't think I can come up with cash for this as I just bought the Countach from Chad, but there are others out there that have sleeping-problems now, dreaming the Miura dream:) PCow, it is not offered, but owner has a 350GT, LP400 close to completition, and I don't actually think he will do this car since a not matching number car not is his style..
  19. So, anyone here that would like to take a qualified guess what a car like this, with little rust and no engine/trans might be worth?
  20. So, Budapest is way better (and then not only the girls..) than Prague?
