While there were so awesome reveals at the Geneva Show (Aston, Lamborghini, Bugatti) there was definitely a justifiable buzz around the Koenigsegg booth with the reveal of the all-new Jesko. Key Points: - Redesigned 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 8,500 RPM limit (1280 hp on pump gas, 1600 on E85 Ethanol) with a curb weight of 1,420 kgs (3130lbs). - Nine-speed (Light Speed Transmission) a proprietary DCT trans that lets you skip to the ideal gear, regardless of speed for optimum acceleration. Example, in 7th, and need 4th, it goes down to 4 without having to pass 6 or 5. - Active Aero provides over 1,000kgs )2204lbs) of downforce. - Active rear-wheel steering - New chassis for more head-room and leg-room. - Named after Christian's father, Jesko, obviously. A really neat gesture in my book.

Not to be outdone in the performance luxury segment, Bugatti revealed the one-off 'La Voiture Noire' in Geneva. The nearly $19MM USD (after taxes and fees) car is an homage to the iconic Type 57 SC Atlantic and celebration of the brands 110th anniversary. Based on the Chiron, the W16 quad-turbo churns out nearly 1,500 hp and more than 1,100 lb-ft of torque. Claimed top-speed approached 300 MPH.
