thecyrax Report post Posted October 24, 2005 I know this may sound a bit "cheap" for most of you but, my budget is a bit tighter than others. I need a classy looking, nice watch in the $400-500 range (Men's). Any suggestions?
rakjoe Report post Posted October 24, 2005 Look into TAG, they have some neat pieces. Talk to stryke, he'll give you the run down. www.TheWatchCollectorNY.com [email protected] or call 917-682-5820

integrate Report post Posted October 25, 2005 For 500 bucks I have seen some nice SEIKO chrono's with the black/silver combo. Also check ebay for some power sellers that dont sell fake crap. And dont listen to Mako or you will have 10,000 bucks for a watch and still not enough :axe:
rakjoe Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Not worth it, save your money until you can afford something nice. I think the trashhold for entery level decent watches is $1500.00 . Anyhting less will be throwing money off the window.
Mako Report post Posted October 25, 2005 I think the trashhold for entery level decent watches is $1500.00 .Anyhting less will be throwing money off the window. Exactly. Even a dimestore Cartier can be had for that, not to mention a steel Rolex. Just need to shop around. TAG has devalued their brand too much in recent years, far too many of their watches offered under $1k.

thecyrax Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Ugh... I'm sorry, I really don't intend on spending over 500 bucks on my new watch. I'm not really considering this watch an investment. I don't intend to sell it at all. Could someone PLEASE give me some specific examples of watches in this price range? :-k
Stryke Report post Posted October 25, 2005 It's not about selling it. Watches are not investments. I do not know of a single watch under $1,500, sorry. Maybe someone else can help.
