Glenn Weir Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Where is the best place to get parts for the Urraco 2.5 engine? It has a stuck valve...no damage but will need engine gasket kit...guides...and probable do the piston re ring. I have heard of guys buying straight from Italy best price and good parts. If you have recent experience in this repair or can give me the name address of parts supplier would be great. I would like to get this car up and running. silhouette Report post Posted November 9, 2005 My engine? no I Didn't "need" to rebuild the engine but thought it was worth doing as part of the restoration process given the rarity of the car and the extent of the restoration. The engine in my Silhouette therefore has had this attention whereas my Urraco p300 just kept spinning to 7500rpm and beyond for years!......
