Congrats dude! That's awesome, you find a six-speed or e-gear? Got any plans for it or keeping it stock?

It's an e-gear. I'm keeping it stock mechanically except for exhaust. So far I've just powder coated the wheels.  This is all I'm doing with the car:

- Powder coated wheels black

- Escort Max CI Radar Detector

- AL Priority Laser Jammers

- Tint: 50% windshield, 35% sides

- Larini Exhaust + Secondary Cat Deletes

- Pioneer Head Unit with Carplay

- Focal Speakers

- 10" Subwoofer behind seat

- Clear Bra

- Sending interior buttons off to sticky no more for refinishing

Yeah, that's the right way to do it. Going to be sweet, make sure to post more pictures when you can. Are you stateside again?

Congrats Sprite! The Murci is such a sick car. I love driving mine but hate the Maintance on the egear. This is my second winter in a row with an engine out to try and fix my dropping into neutral issue. With that said, I still love her lol. She is like a high maintenance supermodel!

If it’s dropping on shifts it’s most likely the accumulator. Seems like a common failure . Symptom is car making some shifts while others drop into N.

I’ll do a proper write up but they are very different you can hardly tell they are related.

J is much easier to drive hard and much smoother clutch and generally and just feels a lot more modern. At 8/10ths + they are pretty similar but slow and reasonably quick the J is much nicer to drive and turns in way better and you feel you are in control wheats the SV feels like you are constantly in a fight with it!

Picked it up and drove London to Scotland the next day for a car tour so I’m a 1000 miles in so far, great car for twisty fast stuff but a bit big for the small roads.

More to follow when I get back in a few days

Plan on keeping both or going to lose the SV?

Car is amazing, way better than expected, it properly handles and feels like a big go cart, SV I always feel like I’ve been in a fight with it and it might kill me anywhere near it’s limit when I get out, this one I actually feel I am driving it and it does what I want not the other way round!

Plan is is to run them a few months together and get a proper feel of them together then sell one, J is undoubtedly better in almost every way. But has more money to lose and new model will be here in th not that distant future and sadly I’m not rich enough or a keen collector so won’t keep them both. SV feels very special and agricultural and mechanical by comparison and I’m emotionally attached to it so will be a hard one.

Few more pics, J’s are Blu Nethuns, Rosso Bia, Giallo Tenerife and Verde Alceo, not the best lighting and but you get the gist
