Wow, I would have thought it was much older than that (in a good way, I love old spanish architecture and craftsmanship).

I was wondering about the NASA size satellite dish. :lol2:

Thats a 90s TV satelite system. Back them was a really expensive service like $400 USD or more per month.

I realize that, hence why I thought it was so out of place on an estate like this. I figured they would have something, ANYTHING, other than that beast.

Original price of the mansion back in 1982: $50´000,000 USD just imagine how powerful were the owners.

I get the impression that the mansion is not lived in by the owners.

No, actually no one had ever lived in that place since was built.

I was going to say it looks a bit sinister LOL

Thank you for posting photos Zambrano

The mansion have a dark past involving severe corruption and powerful political figures from the late 70s to 80s.

So let me understand, it was built in the '60s and no one has lived in it since it was built? Wow. Why was it remodeled 3 times. Are people afraid to live in it because of repercussions from the original owners?

That property is amazing. I love the style. Did you get to go inside as well?

Yes, I´ll post interior photos soon.

Brief story about the mansion:

Was built by the ex-president José Guillermo Abel López Portillo (1976-1982) using tax payers money, some reports said that mansion´s original cost was: $500,000,000.00 mexican pesos ($38,075,248.88 USD) now the property cost near $50,000,000 USD.

Nicknamed "La colina del perro" (Hill of the dog)

The current "owner" is the company Televisa.

Currently used as film location for telenovelas and some movies.
