What's it like taking delivery of a Bugatti Veyron?

And the 599 came in tuesday :)

The 599 was more of a smash and grab thing... AKA, pick it up from the dealer. It sounds ok... Tubi will be going in in a few weeks once it arrives. The 599 is a spectacular driving car... one could easily go cross-country in it with full comfort!

IMHO, Red suites it absolutely BEST.

The Veyron is a humbling experience in many ways.... understated... patient... waiting. It is what it is. A lot of the interior treatment feels akin to a more "rough" or "hard" Rolls Royce... def. not Bentley quality Smile Alcantera is not used sparcley, or poorly. It is what it is... and it is something to be in awe of for what it is.

It is not the fastest thing on gods green earth, and doesn't evoke the same presence as that would...

I'll post some more after we are formerly trained on how to use, and drive the Veyron in a few weeks by Bugatti's rep.

Wow. Just amazing.

"The Veyron just came in today and I picked up the 599 on Tuesday."

LOL, I wish I could make a post like this!

Enjoy them safely and in good health!

I don't want any false information out there. I am most definitely NOT the owner.

The Veyron was delivered a 2 weeks ago today.... just got around to getting a few images online just now. More will follow.

On the thought of "deliveries" and such... there are always cars in the pipeline that haven't arrived yet... from a 959, to a Zagatto Spyker... and many many others.

I took the car out on Wednesday to snap a few photos :)

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to have any high res pics? Some of these shots would make great desktop backgrounds.

Which one would you like in what resolution?

A very good friend owns them, and this is how I have access to them.

Shitty truck????

Oh well. I guess the truck makes the car less exciting.

The Veyron Rocks... The 599 not soo much.

On a scale of one to Veyron... its hard to compare against anything that has ever been in production in the past 100 years. :)

The Veyron --when its spoiler is engaged-- is just beautiful :icon_mrgreen: :icon_super: .

My thoughts exactly! With the car in "normal" mode, the car is overall about 1.5" higher ground clearance... so its not just having the spoiler raised, but also filling out the wheel wells more! A common show-car tactic in action and functional :)

Having driven the Veyron, I agree.

2x wasted posts that contribute nothing, and are totally worthless.

5 "new" cars were bought over the weekend.... 1x 67 427 POS, 3x 54 vettes, and 1x Buick GNX

Is the Veyron an 08 delivered in Miami?

Likely its build is from 05/07-> 08/07 as an 07.. But.... MY isn't what is affecting Bugatti's.... it is the different generational developments... currently being delivered are the 3rd or 4th generation Veyron's.... I can't remember which.

I saw a similar car posted on the net somewhere claiming to be one of the first 08s in the US delivered to Miami recently. Just curious if it was the same car.
