Placid Report post Posted March 25, 2008 After a few hours of browsing the internet, I've come up with this list. Primarily based on the LR list and some Japanese sites. I'm still missing a few, and some are probably wrong. If you have any corrections or additions, please share them! Of the 28 I got 22 Jotas in the list and 19 pictures, 3 pictures I haven't managed to match with a number. kwn Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Great list. Kev, I see your on here, any help? Keith Keith, you got me. I guess your car will be in the list soon. If you have any corrections or additions, please share them!Placid, you did well. Let me try to help a little. No.67 is Yellow & No.132 is Purple. The unknown White one in Japan is No.140. kane00 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 I'm trying to get more info on the development of the car. It would be really interesting to see how a factory installed kit ran compared to one that was put on later. I do know Steve is updating a lot of stuff. I can't reveal too much, cause Steve's shop is like Area 51. And I know he secretly reads my posts! Keith
kwn Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Anyway, I have been hiding the real SE30 #001's info for years. The 2nd photo is Europe #001, not SE30 #001. http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/Diablo/...0/SE30-001.html Kevin

Kevin Thanks Kevin Is there any chance of the yellow one i have not matched with a number is 67? Also, according to some "sources" (like here), there is one Jota in the US, not registered and not moving. I'm also wondering, is this "thing" really a Jota? It definitely has some sort of intake above the engine:

emilio Report post Posted March 25, 2008 I'm also wondering, is this "thing" really a Jota? It definitely has some sort of intake above the engine: i think this thing was originally a jota modded as a race car for Japan serie by Mr. Noritake (sort of "THE MAN" for lamborghinis and racing lambos in Japan) this thing was seen on the track around 95 in Italy lambo meet
TRANSAMERA Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Does this count as a Jota

Well, this yellow one sure looks Japanese... Does this count as a Jota No, it has half a engine

Diablo_4_Ever Report post Posted March 25, 2008 Placid: I think the picture you posted of #127 is actually #104, I don't know the 127 car. And where did you find your info on #140 and #145? Could the picture of 140 you posted be 147? The pic you posted of the unknown purple Jota in Japan is SE #141, it has a Jota engine but it's not on the registry website. Kevin: Do you know the color combination of the real #001? If the #001 car in Europe isnt' the real 001 car than what is it's real number? Do you know if #67 is in Hong Kong? BTW I don't think the race Jota's were given a SE number

BTW I don't think the race Jota's were given a SE number 127 is based solely on LR, and none of the #104 photos match the surroundings on the #127 photo. Might still be the same car of course Kevin pointed out #140 (was one of my unmatched pictures), and #145 I found on this page. #140 has original windows, #147 has not, most likely not same car. And then there is this, not the same as the other with strosek headlights, this has different interior and steeringwheel:

kane00 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 The kit was never legal anywhere. It was sold as "Off Road Use Only" The kit was actually designed by Lamborghini Engineering, which at the tiem was the racing department building the F1 program. The original intent was to compete in the FIA BPR series that was so popular at the time. This was at the end of the Chrysler regime and beginnings of the Megatech ownership. There 2 in America, mine and a collector who has had the car since new and it sits in his garage. It has never been registered or driven.
