It's not W8, it's WX3R (R stands for "roadster", there was albo coupe WX3). It ends as protoype and was never produced (but earlier W8 was, 17 cars were sold).

earliest cars were the best, but agree, just too 'delorean' like in terms of overall quality...I saw Gerald Weigart at the SF Auto Show when he first launched....it was the feature car of the show and I was an impressionable teenage boy, so yes, at the time, I thought it was VERY cool!
