Yes, nothing can touch a TT GT once it has built a full head of steam. At the runway event, the white and blue one put bus lengths on me in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Too bad they seem to be really difficult to get off the line.

Put bus lengths on your TT Gallardo? Damn, are the GT TTs really that fast on the top end? Are their aerodynamics just insanely good or what?

went by the name of Alex911 on the GT forum.

That was Alex911 , fatal accident on september 13th. Not many details there , he made a turn , accelerated , lost control and ended up in the upcoming lane , collided with VW van ( driver died too ) and burnt . Heard his speed was 100km/h ish

on russian racing website ( all in russian ) where most of his friends post ( he used to post too ) - it's all in russian so don't think it'll help . " official media " version is that he tried to make a u-turn there , which is impossible ( for any sane person ) at that place due to amount of traffic . 100km/h ish is an assumption ( not mine ) , because he just started accelerating after turning to that street so his speed couldn't be much higher. VW's speed was 150km/h ish , assumption based on normal traffic speed there. I don't think we'll ever know what happened there , it's under investigation now and only his close friends and family will know , pretty sure it won't be posted on that website either.

There was another FGT crash in Moscow this summer . Guy accelerated on the cold road , lost traction while shifting and ended up in the tree with his right side. Alex used his clutch after for a race event ( removed it after ) and he "met" the VW with his right side too . Talk about bad "accident car " carma . IMHO he crahed the same way , because it happened around 3 am , so the road was rather cold ( he once posted that he gets somewhat normal grip only over +15C ) and he had twice the power.
