Mr. Vroom Report post Posted October 13, 2009 Welcome to Lpower and thanks for the vid(liked the tunnels!), I will move this to the general section. btw, the LP640 will smoke the spyder in any given situation.

jefflambo Report post Posted October 13, 2009 Yes the 640 will hurt it bad. In the vid the 640 driver short shifts it. He shifted very low in RPM rang. The 640 dose not start to produce thos big HP # untill it gets to the 6000 RPM range. The driver in the vid shifted at that point. I dont care what world you are in the 640 will pull hard. Not saying the Gallardo is slow but it is a very different car then the 640. In some ways it is better but speed is not one of those ways. Assman Report post Posted October 13, 2009 Hey, how about a 560 spyder vs an lp640 roadster.

DrVertigo Report post Posted October 13, 2009 Dead even or with in spitting distance for the spyder. I doubt that - the 560 and 640 coupes are closely matched, but the Murcielago cabrio is barely any heavier than the coupe, whereas the Gallardo Spyder's performance is heavily compromised (a 140kg weight gain versus 25kg for the Murcie Roadster). It'd be no contest in a straight line, and even round a track I wouldn't be surprised if the Murcielago posted quicker times. RagingBullPower Report post Posted October 14, 2009 thanks! alright, sorry for posting it at the wrong location..haha but i do think it would be slightly closer for A 560' vs a 640' cause the 640's shifts are slower as compared to the 560's new E-gear gearbox despite the 640's fast 0-60 timing. thanks for all the comments! be sure to see the other videos
